Thank you! + a little getaway + the best ice cream flavor

First, we were blown away by all the sweet messages we received yesterday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! I always say we have the best people…it is definitely true!! Thank you, thank you!! <3 We had so many sweet message that I got blocked on Facebook from responding to everyone…

Rewinding to Monday…sometimes ya just to enjoy a little cobbler while you grade…

A nap has been happening just about every day lately. I think the girls love it.

Veggies sound so gross to me right now, so I’m just eating what sounds good and I’m okay with that. This was dinner Monday night – leftover beans and rice, two pieces of toast with jelly, and some chips. All the carbs.

I have also been living on cereal. Life is my current favorite, but I’m also eating Lucky Charms, Cheerios, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

French toast has also been a staple. I chowed down on some before heading to the gym Tuesday morning.

After the gym, I hopped on my computer for a meeting. Jake took the girls for a run, and the second Lu got back, she plopped down on the rug in my office and passed out.

Pregnant through IVF and traveling means taking ALL your meds with you. I am still getting a PIO (progesterone in oil) shot every single day and using progesterone suppositories twice a day, every other day. I think the suppositories are the worst part. By far. I’ll take the shots over them any day. We are a little over nine weeks into daily shots. About two weeks left to go!

We loaded up and hit the road for a little family getaway! We are in Fayetteville, AR until Thursday.

All the snacks and Sprite Zero – my life savers right now.

We are staying in the cutest Airbnb. The girls spent about an hour sniffing every inch of the space.

We had dinner with Jake’s running coach and his family, which was such a blast. They have a two year old and a four year old, so they kept us entertained all evening. We had the best time. After dinner, I NEEDED ice cream, so we made a quick stop at Braum’s.

Birthday cake ice cream with whipped cream is the best. It’s my go-to ice cream order.

We are going to a concert tonight, then will head home Thursday afternoon. It has been so fun to get away and explore a new area for a few days.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
