Our last morning in Fayetteville, we went to a place called Preludes. It was AMAZING. They had pancake flights, which was the best thing I have ever had. I had the lemon blueberry pancake, the coffee cake pancake, and one called This is Sin, which had caramel sauce, cinnamon butter, and bacon on it. 10/10 recommend.
Lunch was less fancy but still amazing – chili cheese conies from Sonic, chedRbites, and Route 44 slushes….HA!
The girls love being in the car. They alternate between sleeping and staring out the window.
Back home, I met some gal pals for dinner at a new place downtown last night, La Habana Vieja – it was pretty good! We ordered all of the starters and just shared everything. We ended the evening with churros, which were outstanding.
We will miss you, Alex, but know AR is lucky to have you!
After dinner, I took the girls on a short walk, then crawled into bed to read for a little bit. I am very ready to finish the book I’ve been reading, but I will also be sad when it’s over. I’m still reading The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers.
Happy Friday, friends!
