Short & sweet!

Anyone else feel like the beginning of the week drags on and on, but once we hit Thursday, it feels like it has flown by?? I have felt this way for the past month or so. My Monday-Wednesday seems to take FOREVER, but then before I know it, it’s Thursday, which feels like the end of the week. Our perceptions of time are strange. Anyway, before I get off on a tangent, let’s chat about Wednesday. I was on my computer from 9:30 until about 4:30, so I don’t have a ton to share with you. Lunch was another salad with poppy seed dressing and some leftover pizza. Plus one of my Mom’s famous monster cookies. YUM. They’re my favorite.

Like I said, the whole day was spent on my computer. I finished up three more syllabi and updated everything in Blackboard (the online platform I use to teach). I was working on my spring courses yesterday. It’s early to get them ready, but with the baby being due in February, I know I’m not going to want to be tweaking things in December/January, so I’m trying to work ahead. Nothing really sounded good for dinner, so I made pancakes and an egg scramble. Jake worked a little late, so he didn’t get home until almost 7pm. About 4pm, my nausea got super bad, so I wrapped up my work and laid on the couch until bed. I am thankful I was able to have a productive morning!

I have a bunch of meetings today, so I went to an early class at my gym. I was proud of myself for getting up at 5:30am…I haven’t been doing the best at hitting my goal up getting up earlier…maybe next week once the semester starts back up. It sure did feel good to get my workout knocked out early, but I am so sleepy now…I’m hoping I can squeeze in a nap between meetings.

Now for ALL the meetings…that’s how you know the school year is about to start. So. Many. Meetings. I am excited to see everyone, though! Everything we do today will be virtual, which is so nice. I love technology.

Happy Thursday, friends!
