Hair washing? + multitasking at its finest + last Thursday post!

I had to run the first part of our faculty meeting yesterday, but didn’t have time to wash my hair, so I attempted to savage my top half and look presentable, while keeping my normal look of comfy cozy on the bottom. Headbands and earrings can make you look put together even if you don’t feel that way. I can’t remember the last time I washed my hair….so…that needs to happen today…

Friends, you NEED these sweatpants. They are hands-down the best sweats I have ever put on my body. I promise. I don’t have an affiliate code or a discount code (they’re running a huge sale right now!!), but these are AMAZING. I have four of them and could definitely see getting one or two more…(I won’t Jake! I could just SEE it happening….) ; ) They are buttery soft and so lightweight, with a fleece lining. I am obsessed. I have a large in one pair, which will be perfect as I continue to grow, but for now, the mediums fit perfectly – that’s what I have in the other three.

You can shop their whole line of joggers and sweats HERE. I have THESE in blue and olive (I got the medium short – I’m 5’5″), THESE in gray (they’re cropped, but still hit right above my ankles – I got the medium), and my other pair is sold out (black and a large). I love them all. Here’s the full length in olive.

Lunch was more leftover BBQ chicken and a salad. I am thankful I made too much chicken on Sunday when we watched football, it has been great as leftovers!

We have been squeezing our 5ks in later in the day this week. One of my meetings wrapped up about 4pm, so as soon as it was over, we headed out! It was chilly but sunny…my favorite weather.

I LOVE these, especially for nights like last night when I was short on time for dinner. These heat up in the skillet in about 10 minutes and they are DELICIOUS. There are a bunch of different flavors. The Spicy Thai is amazing. We also had cauli rice with turmeric, garlic, pepper, and coconut aminos.

I finished cooking dinner just in time to hop onto a meeting. I was asked to attend this last-minute, so I turned my camera off and did some things in the kitchen while I listened. It was a review of a test for reading teachers I already knew about and had taken (it is extremely difficult), so I knew I would be able to eat and do a little meal prep while still paying attention. After I ate, I prepped and cooked mini quiches and two whole quiches to freeze. I also learned a few new things from the test review! Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do to get things finished.

These (and the mini quiches) have ham, turkey, mozzarella, mushrooms, and spinach. YUM.

Rhea kept bringing different toys into the kitchen. If I pick up her toys and put them in the bin we keep them in, she will watch me do it, then walk over to the bin, WHILE keeping eye contact with me, and move every toy back out. She’s the sweetest girl, but she’s also sassy!

This past month has been pretty bonkers. I could have used about 12 more hours in each day, HA! I’m sure that will only intensify once the baby is here. I shared yesterday that I’m going to pull-back to posting three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so this will be my last Thursday post for awhile. I love blogging daily, so we’ll see what happens, but I want to keep everyone informed! You won’t see posts from me on Tuesdays and Thursdays after today, but I’ll be here every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! <3 Thank you for coming here each day and being a part of our lives. It means so, so much. Hugs!

Happy Friday Eve, friends!
