We had such a great weekend! We went to a BBQ/grilling competition with Jake’s Dad Friday night, a wedding Saturday, and got to hang with my family on Sunday. Friday morning started with a walk with these two. If I can’t run with my girls in the AM, walking is the next best thing!

My Friday continued to get better because I treated myself to Nearly Famous for lunch. I could live off of their quiche and salad.

I had one meeting Friday afternoon, then I got caught up on some much needed couch cuddles with my furbabies. I failed to take pictures Friday night, but we had a blast catching up with everyone at Hardwoods.

This is one of my all-time favorite coffee creamers. It’s not crazy sweet, but it has the perfect amount of flavor. So. Good.

I cannot stop eating pancakes…

If you’ve been here for awhile, you will remember that I used to get eyelash extensions and LOVED them. I stopped getting then about two years ago because the upkeep was a lot, but I miss them. I hate putting on make-up, but extensions always made me put a little bit put together. I kept hearing good things about FlutterHabit, so I finally decided to try them. I was super nervous because I can never get fake lashes (the strip kind) to go on straight or stay on. The FlutterHabit lashes were delivered Saturday morning, so I thought I’d try them out before heading to a wedding. These come in four segments and are supposed to last five days. Here’s the type I got to try – The Originals.

I was impressed with how easy they were to apply! I didn’t need all four segments, so I only used three. Not sure if that’s the intent, but it worked for me. I don’t want to say I love them yet since I JUST got them, but today (Monday) is day three and they’re still going strong…stay tuned! You can shop them HERE – I don’t have a code or anything, but if I end up loving them, I will see if I can get a discount code for you to try them out. They have ALL different lengths. If these continue to hold up, I definitely want to try some of the others.

We headed out for baby boy’s first wedding!

Our friend, Alex, got married in Ponca, AR, which is about 90 minutes from our house. We had planned to stay down there after the wedding, but then decided to just drive to and from the day of. The weather was gorgeous. It got chilly as the night went on, but the sunshine felt wonderful.

Cassie, who owns Ozark Mtn Flower Truck, did all of the flowers for the wedding. They were GORGEOUS (as always). We have been friends since we were 15 – I’m just thankful she still wants to hang out with me after my awkward high school years.

The views were amazing. The wedding was at Cedar Crest Lodge in Ponca – so pretty.

I don’t know why we have never been approached by a modeling company…we would obviously be stars! ; )

The Statens!

Alex, you were such a beautiful bride! Thank you for including us on your special day! <3

We got back home a little before 11pm. Rhea wouldn’t leave our side – I think she missed us. I always laugh when she curls up on our small bath mat…I think both girls love this mat because it is super cushioned.

Sunday morning started with sleeping in, then we headed to the grocery store to get groceries for the week. I didn’t feel like cooking anything for breakfast, so we’re having overnight oats. We had some different protein powders to use up, so these have a mixture of protein powders, powdered greens, peanut butter, oats, and almond milk. That’s it! Just mix it all together and store in the fridge. I THINK I used one scoop of protein powder, one scoop of greens, one TBS of peanut butter, half a cup of oats, and one cup of almond milk.

Jake’s lunches for the week are chicken teriyaki bowls. These have rice, chicken, and a veggie mixture. I love the teriyaki sauce by Coconut Aminos. The flavor is AMAZING.

I really struggled to get veggies in last week, so I made myself broccoli cheddar soup to try and get more veggies this week. I followed THIS recipe. I haven’t tried it yet, but Jake had a spoonful last night and he said it was amazing. I will have a slice of beer bread with the soup. I’m already excited about lunch, so I think that’s a good sign!

Rhea watched her Dad mow our yard while I meal prepped yesterday. This is Rhea’s favorite spot in our house. There are always multiple toys surrounding her.

Lu took a Sunday snooze, which I also ended up doing when I finished meal prep. I was SO tired yesterday. I took a 30 minute nap and it was incredible.

We hung out with my family Sunday evening and watched this sweet girl go down the slide a million times.

We grabbed dinner with my parents at Houlihan’s and I had one of their burgers. It was delicious! This was my first real meal of the day Sunday because nothing sounded good. I just inhaled a bunch of snack type things all day until dinner. I am hoping my appetite comes back this week.

I headed to the gym this morning, but not before sipping on some coffee. This is day three of my Flutter Habit lashes and they still look great! I am impressed so far…we’ll see how long they last.

Happy Monday, friends!
