I cannot believe next week is November! The days are flying by. I think I can thank work and how crazy it’s been for that, ha! The girls and I are still getting some walks in. I am LOVING this chilly weather.
I found these bento boxes at Home Goods and they are perfect for Jake’s lunches. I love that they keep everything separate. The one on the right has an additional piece that can be added for even more separation. They were only $4.99, too, which I thought was a good deal. I love Home Goods.
We are having veggie sandwiches this week for lunch and they are definitely hitting the spot. These have Everything Bagel Thins, spicy cheese, Yum Yum sauce tomato slices, cucumber, onion, yellow pepper, banana peppers, and provolone cheese. SO. Good.
I have a big project that includes all kinds of forms, charts, and other information. It took me FOREVER to figure out how to organize this, but now that I have that under control, I’m hoping it doesn’t take too long to finish the actual work. I am updating my syllabi (I have eight to do), so we’ll see how it goes!
My all-time favorite chicken is so easy to make and it is crazy delicious. You just need chicken cut into bite-sized pieces, ghee, garlic powder, turmeric, and coconut aminos. Cook everything together until chicken is cooked through and has a crispy outside. Add this to a wrap, salad, sweet potato…anything! It’s so good.
Ours went on a sweet potato with cheese and chickpeas. I cooked the chickpeas that same way I cooked the chicken. We also had beer bread and avocado on the side.
Post-dinner couch relaxing. We look tired and the baby isn’t even here yet…
Dessert after dinner – an apple and caramel. YUM. I finished Maid, too. I cried like a baby multiple times while watching the whole series. It’s SO good. If you have Netflix, check it out. I think it’s a show that everyone needs to watch.
I skipped the gym Monday because my work day got really crazy, but I will make up for the missed day on Friday. I try to get to the gym four times a week, so I should still be able to make that work this week.
Breakfast after the gym was a Cookies and Cream protein shake, waffles, and cheesy eggs.
I have been trying to walk a 5k every day, but the last few days it’s been harder to do that. I get some pressure in my belly and have to pee all the time. I am going to continue walking, but I won’t push to get the 5k on days that I don’t feel great about it. Any movement is better than none!

We grabbed dinner with Jake’s family last night. I had a steak and some lobster bisque. It was delicious. It’s so strange still what sounds good to me and what doesn’t. If something doesn’t sound good, it almost makes my stomach turn at the thought of it. So weird.
I sure love my cutie sister-in-law.
One of us has to watch these two hoodlums eat because Lu tries her best to steal Rhea’s food. Lu may be little, but she’s crazy about food…
Our sweet guy is almost 24 weeks! I can’t believe it. He has definitely grown over the last few days and I can really feel his movements now. There was one last night that was almost painful. I have no clue what to expect as we get closer to the end…I can’t imagine how big I will feel in a few weeks. One of my apps said he should double in size in the next four weeks, which is crazy to me. Keep growing, baby boy! <3
