The cutest onesies + slowing down + here we go!

Our friends, Chris and Brittany, got this onesie for baby boy and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a truer onesie. HA! We have the cutest picture from a few years ago of Jake giving Eleanor a bottle while he sipped on a beer. I’m sure we will have MANY of those photos once Cooper is here.

My friend, Katie, made this onesie and it turned out so cute! I can’t wait to see baby boy in all the cute clothes he has gotten.

My Mom got him some Smartwool socks, which I’ve been calling his first trail socks. Baby clothes are so stinking cute.

Lunch Monday afternoon was a PB&J, Nut Thins (my favorite), and Kefit yogurt while I worked on the computer.

We are getting ready to start our bathroom remodel, so things have been a little crazy this week. We ran a bunch of errands Monday evening when Jake got off work, so we grabbed dinner from Maso while we were out and chowed down when we got back home. They have the best salads.

I haven’t been sleeping very well this week (or last week). My carpal tunnel is getting progressively worse and wakes me up multiple times each night with pretty severe pain. I am trying to get in to see someone about it, but haven’t had any luck yet. I did a little computer work after the gym yesterday, took a lunch break with ALL the cheese roll-ups, then crawled into bed for a little nap.

Oh, I also had some Buffadough for dessert. We were given this at a baby shower from our friend, Melynda, and it is AMAZING. All clean ingredients, gluten-free, and vegan. 10/10 recommend if you like edible cookie dough.

Another day, another bloody nose. I have always had bloody noses, especially when it gets colder/drier out, but apparently they’re common in pregnancy?

This picture from a year ago popped up and made me crave my Mom’s Monster Cookies. They’re the BEST cookies in the whole world. I think I’m gonna have to make some this week.

I asked my Mom if I could share the recipe and she sent it to me. This is actually my Great Grandmother’s recipe, which makes it even more special My Mom has been making these cookies for YEARS. Here’s the recipe card. It’s a little hard to read, so I’ll type it below.

Monster Cookies

1 cup white sugar; 1 cup brown sugar; 1/2 cup margarine (all blended together); 1 cup peanut butter; 3 eggs beaten; 2 tsp baking soda; 1 cup M&Ms (I love peanut M&Ms); 2 tsp vanilla; 4.5 cups quick oats; optional chocolate chips. Bake at 325 for 12-15 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.

This dinner took 10 minutes to make – veggie burgers with a broccoli and pea mixture. I love cooking veggies in coconut aminos and adding a little cheese to the top. So delicious and SO simple.

Lu has been extra cuddly lately. Maybe she knows she’s about to be a big sister again in 10 short weeks.

We started picking out things for our bathrooms! I saw this tile and fell in love with it. I think we are using this for the floor in our hallway bath. I will share our progress as we get started! I think we start demo this weekend…fingers crossed things go smoothly!

I THINK this is the floor we will use for our master. Think, dark floors, wood ceiling, light walls. I can’t wait to see our vision come to life.

I didn’t sleep great last night. Around 3:30am, I moved to our recliner to see if that would help with my carpal tunnel pain. I slept there until about 7 this morning. Trying to get in to see someone ASAP!

Happy Wednesday, friends!
