A fun craft + we’ve got a breech baby + 34 weeks!

I am so excited and honored to be back on Team Nuun for my fourth year in a row! I drink Nuun tabs in my water all the time, and am especially using their Immunity tablets right now with all the germs going around. I can’t wait to share all the cool things that Nuun has in store for 2022.

I am so thankful Mitch supplied us with delicious brats the other night because I have been living on leftovers this week.

I signed up for some labor and delivery classes through the Pregnancy Care Center and had my first one on Wednesday. These classes are all free and you can attend in-person or via zoom. Since it was in the middle of the day, Lu stood in for Jake ; ) . This was the first of three in the series I signed up for, so I have another one next week and the last one the week after.

Whenever I see the graphic of where our organs go as the baby grows, I am blown away. The female body is so incredible. This also explains why I get so winded doing the smallest things…

Dinner Wednesday night consisted of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. I didn’t have much of an appetite, so I just ate part of my sandwich and saved the soup for later.

Keep growing, little one, and while you’re at it, maybe flip around? I am 100% okay delivering however we need to deliver to ensure a safe delivery and a healthy baby, but I sure would love it if he decided to flip before his due date. I know we have some time, so we will just see what happens!

Someone was living her best life with all the snow we got yesterday. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but she is covered in snow. She refused to come inside and just wanted to sit out in the middle of our yard. She does this anytime it snows and it always makes me smile.

This one also loves playing in the snow, but she will just sprint and dive head first into a snow pile before running back to the house so I can wipe her off and she can come inside. She gets cold way before Rhea does.

Oh look, another brat. These are so delicious.

Another day, another bloody nose. I have gotten bloody noses since I was a little girl, but they have definitely flared up while being pregnant. I’m sure the cold, dry air we have right now is not helping.

I used yesterday’s snow day as an excuse to stay inside and work around the house. When I finished a few things, I decided a Valentine’s Day craft was a good idea. We needed a wreath for our front door, so I grabbed some yarn, pom-pom garland, and felt hearts from the dollar store, and ordered a wreath frame off Amazon. I had a few other things left over from when I made some Christmas tree garland, so I used that as well. I had no idea what I wanted to do to this wreath, so I just started wrapping yarn around the wreath frame.

It is kind of hard to tell in pictures, but I used three different colors of yarn and some jute string for the wrapping.

I couldn’t figure out how to use the pom-pom garland and felt hearts, so this is what I ended up doing. I’m not sure that I love it, but I couldn’t figure out what else it needed last night, so I called it good.

I’ll mess around with it later, but for now, it works. It was so relaxing to work on this.

After work yesterday, Jake helped my dad with something over at their new house, so I was on my own for dinner. A fruity smoothie sounded delicious, so that is what I had. This has pea protein, frozen pineapple chunks, a frozen blend of antioxidant-rich fruits (that’s what the bag says), frozen spinach, half a frozen banana, orange juice, and Keifer yogurt which is a probiotic. This smoothie is what I have been eating at least once a day for about the past three weeks.

Since we found out on Monday that we have a breech baby, I am doing everything I can to see if we can get him to flip. A couple people told me to try laying with my feet at an incline with an ice pack on the top of my belly to encourage him to flip around. I will do this pretty consistently over the next few weeks. He was definitely moving around a lot once I put the ice pack on my belly, so we will see what happens!

We are 34 weeks today! Only six-ish more weeks if baby boy decides to come on his due date.

Happy Friday, friends!
