Weekend Wrap-up: my first stroller run + Easter fun + the happiest boy

We had the best weekend. Friday morning started with a coffee date with some of my girlfriends. Cooper joined and loved every second.

Early Friday evening, I knocked put my first solo stroller run with Cooper. It was so much fun. I think I smiled the whole time. I am still doing a run/walk combo, but the stroller definitely added in a little bit more resistance.

He fell asleep about halfway through my run.

Our first of many stroller runs!

Dinner Friday night was sloppy Joe’s, salad, and veggies. I have been so hungry the past few weeks. Breastfeeding hunger is real!

Jake took this picture of us snuggling Saturday morning. This is my favorite part of our day. We get a couple hours of cuddles in bed every morning.

The cutest boy in the whole world.

We hung out with my family Saturday afternoon. We went on a family walk when we got back home and then Jake and Cooper watched Supercross so I could shower and dry my hair. This picture makes me laugh because Jake is snoozing and Cooper is very focused on the Supercross.

Sunday was Easter, so our day started with church. Cooper snoozed through most of it.

He got hungry right before the service ended, so we had a little nursing session before we left.

Jake and I are joining a new church, so our parents went to the Easter service there with us.

After church, we went to my parents’ house for mimosas before brunch.

Eleanor is the best big cousin. She loves to help with Cooper and entertain him.

Our sweet friend, Bettina, made Cooper the cutest onesies. Here is the Easter one she made for him. She also made him one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas, plus a bunch of other adorable ones. She’s the best!

My baby’s first holiday. I sure love our little family.

Cooper got some good snuggles in with his grandma Carmie.

We had dinner at Jake’s parents and Cooper finally got to meet Riley. He loved him!

Then it was back home to play and get ready for bed. Cooper kept grabbing Jake’s beard and nose while they were playing on the floor.

Cooper was all smiles this morning when we got up. He has the best little smile.

Happy Monday, friends!
