We had a wonderful weekend full of family time, good food, and sunshine. Friday afternoon started with some errands before meeting friends for a drink. I failed to take any pictures….
Coop and I also snuck in a walk, too.
My whole heart in one picture.
Our Saturday morning started with a family run. One of our neighbors handed us a bunch of beautiful peonies as we were finishing up.
Then someone got a bath and dressed up for his special day – his baptism!
We ended up having a private baptism because we wanted to have the same priest that baptized Jake baptize Cooper. It was such a fun and special day.
Cooper’s awesome aunts are also his godparents.
I had so much fun planning his baptism lunch. We had everyone over to our house for lunch after the service at the church.
Huge thank you to Beth‘s Bake Shop for the cutest cookies ever. These were crazy delicious.
Cooper got lots of family cuddles all day.
Jake cannot wait for Cooper to ride his bike. He’s getting closer!
Sunday morning started off with some cuddles with my favorite little guy.
We spent Sunday at the golf course watching Jake golf with my dad, my grandpa, and his dad. I don’t golf, but I think I’d like to start…we’ll see.
Lunch on the golf course.
One happy boy.
After golf, Jake was on Cooper duty and I headed out for a recovery run. I am so, so thankful to be running again.
I once again failed to take pictures, but Sunday evening was spent celebrating my father-in-law and sister-in-law‘s birthdays. We slept in this morning then got some good cuddles in. I love our mornings.
Our house was supposed to be painted last week, but with all the rain that happened, it got pushed to this week. The painters are here priming right now. I can’t wait to see the finished product! I will share updates all week.
Happy Monday, friends!
