This kid is scooting like crazy. He can get himself completely off this play mat in about 30 seconds. I have a feeling once he starts crawling, we will never sit down again.

This lunch is delicious – rice, broccoli with coconut aminos, and ground turkey with buffalo sauce. YUM. I also added some plain Greek yogurt with ranch seasoning to the top. SO dang good.

The happiest boy.

Working mom life…this is the first week I have felt overwhelmed. I got asked to teach a new course, which is fine, but I have to completely redo it and get it ready in two weeks. It is also under review by the state, so there’s a lot of pressure in its creation. It will get done, it’s just a little overwhelming at the moment.

One of the best dinners – ground beef taco salad. I inhaled this plate and could’ve had another one.

The cutest little rolls ready for bath time.

I prepped a few breakfast casseroles Monday evening. Our garage fridge and freezer went out a few weeks ago, which means all the meals I had prepped and frozen spoiled. Huge bummer. So, I’m trying to slowly build a freezer stash of meals again.

Jake was going to hang with Cooper after work Monday so I could get some solid work done, but he ended up working a storm all night, so I knocked out some late night work after I put Coop to bed.

I miss him so much when he’s sleeping.

I love our morning snuggles! Coop usually gets up twice in the night. Once around 1/2 and again around 3/4. After his first waking, I change him, feed him, and put him back down in his crib. After his second waking, I put him in bed with us and we sleep until we’re up for the day, usually around 6:30/7. He sometimes goes longer stretches, but that’s about average for his sleep right now.

When dad gets home from working all night and plays with you before crawling into bed.

I have not done a good job of crib naps. It has worked up till now, but with my workload slowly increasing, I think I need that long morning nap stretch to work. It’s my goal to start crib naps again this week. Fingers crossed!

I hopped on the treadmill yesterday morning to get my tempo workout in. Jake was sleeping after working all night, so Coop and I camped out in our sunroom.

I stopped a bunch during this run because Coop wasn’t about it, but we got it in!

This handsome dude has been in his crib at night for a little over a week now! I’m so proud of him.

Little man is currently napping in his crib and I’m about to bust out as much work as I can while he sleeps!
Happy Wednesday, friends!
