Weekend Wrap-up: Florida fun + flight drama + Halloween!

We had the best time in Florida with my family. Coop did so great on our flights, even the one back home that had to be rerouted to Memphis to refuel because the visibility in Springfield was awful. After fueling back up, we flew back to Springfield, hopeful we could land. We were able to! Thank goodness. We got home MUCH later than planned, but Coop did so great.

He loved crawling around on the floor at my grandparents’ house. They have the cushiest carpet.

We spent a lot of time at the pool while we were in Florida. He’s the cutest little fish.

Coop loved snuggling his great grandma.

I sure do love this kid.

My grandma makes the most delicious beef and noddles. She made them for us for dinner Friday night and they were outstanding.

My two best boys.

We woke up Saturday morning and it was a little cloudy, so we did some shopping while we waited for the sun to come out.

This kid swam his little heart out and then napped real hard while we snuggled.

The guys golfed Saturday morning, so when they finished up and we finished at the pool, mom and dad headed out for a run date. It got pretty toasty by the time we finished, but we were thankful we got it in.

We ordered dinner from our favorite shrimp place and got some gyro meat from a nearby Greek restaurant. This dinner was AMAZING.

Tutu and Coop snuggles.

This kid is definitely very, very loved. And he gets all the snuggles he could want.

He was fascinated by the wine bottles, so we were all on guard to make sure he didn’t get any. Ha! Wonder where he gets his love of wine from… ; )

We sure are blessed with the best!

It was a short trip, but I’m thankful we got to spend some time with my grandparents.

Little man did so great on his first two flights, especially considering we were on the flight home for almost six hours. It’s only a two and a half hour flight. We survived!

Starting to get a little slap happy. VERY ready to be off the plane.

Just a boy and a Nalgene, snuggling at midnight.

Coop and I slept in this morning after our late night. I’m so thankful he decided to sleep late!! I was worried he’d be up early. Now to unpack and try to get caught up on everything.

Happy Halloween, friends! I am so excited to dress up as a family tonight. Our street shuts down and we have a big parade and party. It’s always a blast!

Happy Monday, friends!
