Coop loves feeding the pups + Roseola sucks + track work & the stroller

We went to the doctor Monday afternoon for Coop. They tested him for strep, but it came back negative. His pediatrician thinks he has Roseola, which is a virus with a a rash and a high fever. My poor baby has not wanted to be put down, so we have been getting in lots of snuggles. He loves Hey Bear sensory videos, so he watched one for 10 minutes while I tried to knock out some things around the house. I hate when he isn’t feeling well. It breaks my heart.

Coop’s pediatrician said he isn’t contagious, so we headed to swim Monday night. He did pretty well considering he wasn’t feeling his best.

When we got home from swim, Jake grilled some delicious stuffed chicken breasts for dinner. We also had mashed potatoes and salad.

Coop fed most of his potatoes to Rhea…

Ugh. Tuesday was rough. Coop was so miserable and just couldn’t get comfortable. He fell asleep on me about 30 minutes after waking up and was out for almost two hours. you can kind of see the rash on his face.

He seemed to feel a little better after he woke up, so we played in his nursery before heading out for a run.

Sometimes ya just need a little sunshine and fresh air! This kid’s smile makes everything better.

I had interval work yesterday, so Coop and I headed to the track. Let me tell ya something, track work with a stroller is tough! I kept reminding myself that stroller running is making me stronger. Plus, I love being able to take Coop with me.

Give this kid a water bottle and he’ll be happy for hours.

I was proud of this run. I had a 30 minute warm-up and cool-down with five sets of interval work with a recovery in-between.

I was starving when we got back home, so I chowed down on all this deliciousness. A PB&J wrap, salad with turkey, and pretzels. Yum.

Pack n play prison. Ha!

Coop had swim last night. He’s almost finished with his four day a week lessons. After this, we will start going once a week for maintenance.

Guess who woke up feeling much better!! I’m so so thankful.

Coop’s new favorite thing is pulling all his books off these shelves. I hope that just means he’s gonna really loooove books. ; )

We finally have a day with ZERO obligations and I could not be more excited. We are currently snuggling. I want to do a little Christmas decorating today…I’m so ready for Coop to experience all things Christmas. <3

Happy Wednesday, friends!
