This kid constantly has his toes in his hands when he nurses. It cracks me up.

We got a bunch of snow on Wednesday and felt like being super lazy, so that is just what we did! Are you ready to see the ultimate transformation for a fun baby play area?

We have had this massive playpen for a while, and just had not gotten around to setting it up. Once I figured out how to set it up, it was super easy! Also, this thing is incredible. Also also, we need a bigger living room…

This thing is pretty dang awesome. THIS is the one we have and I cannot recommend it enough. Coop loves to play it in solo, but there’s also room for all three of us to play. Coop and I hung out in most of the day Wednesday. I love it! Jake’s parents got this for us and it’s amazing.

The massive playpen gets Coop’s stamp of approval!

New day, same lunch – another orange chicken bowl.

Coop’s lunch.

I had one meeting Wednesday. I didn’t have to present this week, and since the weather was so bad, I told our nanny not to worry about coming over. Since I didn’t have to present, it was no biggie. Coop ended up falling asleep right as the meeting started, so we attended like this.

This dinner was so good, we had it twice! Steak bites, veggies, and garlic bread.

Morning play time after breakfast and before his first nap. We usually read about 12 books, dance a little bit, and stack some rings. Those are Coop’s current favorite hobbies.

More recovery miles. I had another 45 minute run, but Coop was over it after about 30 minutes, so I only got 35 minutes in. Better than nothing!

Thursday night date night – wings and beer. One of our favorites! If we feel like eating out, we typically try to go on Thursday night. We usually have a rest day on Friday or a recovery run, so Thursday is a good night to eat food that is a little bit richer than we’d normally eat. It works out well for us!

Someone slept in a little bit this morning. I cannot believe he’s almost one. How?!

We have a few things to knock out around the house this morning, then we’re going to take my mom lunch and spend some time with her. Her partial knee replacement went well! She was in quite a bit of pain and pretty nauseated after the surgery, but she’s feeling better now and happy to be home!
Happy Friday, friends!
