Got some work to do + delicious meals + first birthday crafting

I had a recovery run Monday after not running for eight days while I was sick. I think I smiled the whole time. It felt so good to run again.

This handsome dude snoozed for most of my run. When he woke up, he decided he needed to hold my water bottle.

Lunch on Monday was leftover pizza. I had a two hour faculty meeting, so I inhaled this before my meeting started.

A little crafting for someone’s first birthday next week. HOW?! I’m fine. Really. Totally fine.

The best moments. I can’t believe we’ve been on our breastfeeding journey for almost a year.

Headed into swim. One of us was slightly apprehensive.

Dinner Monday night was this massive tray of nachos. They were delicious.

Cholula is the superior hot sauce. We also had guacamole. You can’t go wrong with Mexican food.

Coop agrees. He devoured some avocado, ground beef, shredded cheese, and cottage cheese.

I have never tried to knock out a run during nap time because I never know how long little man is going to nap. I wasn’t sure when I was going to get my workout in yesterday, so I hopped on the treadmill while he was asleep yesterday. He woke up two second after I took this picture. HA!

The lunches we have this week are so good. And they were so easy – ramen, chicken, and veggies. YUM.

These two snoozed in my office while I worked yesterday.

This is a new favorite meal. I made it a few weeks ago and we both loved it. THIS is the recipe. It’s amazing. One tip – don’t put the cashews into the slow cooker, just put them on top before serving. They get too mushy if you cook them with everything.

Just a boy and his books before bed.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
