This time next week, we will have a one year old! It seems impossible. Coop looks like he’s rocking a sweet mullet in this picture.

This lunch has really hit the spot all week.

I prepped a lasagna for dinner Wednesday night before barricading myself in my office for meetings. Every other Wednesday, I have almost three hours of back-to-back meetings. I knew it would be easier to prep dinner before my meetings than after, so I threw everything together. This has Italian sausage, mushrooms, zucchini, cottage cheese, mozzarella, and pasta sauce. It was delicious! I used oven ready noodles, too.

Jake’s foreman sent him home with this cute little chair for Coop. He loves it.

Family play time before dinner.

Jake finished dry wall and sanding, so this spot is ready for primer and paint! It’s getting closer!

You just can’t beat lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and wine.

Thursday morning started with more chair fun.

I had another workout run, which I was nervous about. This was a similar workout to the one I had Tuesday, which did not go well…I didn’t even end up finishing it because I had weird stomach issues. I was hopeful this one would be better! The sunshine felt amazing.

I managed to get through the whole workout, but I still had some stomach stuff going on. Not sure what’s causing it, but I’m going to figure it out!

I had a warm up followed by three ten minute hard pushes, with a five minute recovery in-between. Those pushes were tough! I always clear my watch when I take a long break from running, so it’s fun to see records pop up when I get back into it. I hit a new (since clearing my watch) fastest mile – 8:05. I’ll take it!

I ended with a little over seven miles for the day. I was so wiped out after this workout. I knocked out my strength work when I finished my run and was happy to call it quits for the day when I finished that.

I sat on the floor while little man played in his room. I was so worn out!

I wanted to take a quick shower, so I put Coop in his big playpen and let him watch a little Hey Bear. After my shower, I walked out to this. I couldn’t stop laughing.

That’s one way to watch your show. That bin has a bunch of toys in it, so I’m not sure how that’s comfortable…

Once Jake got home from work, we headed out to dinner. We went to Cesar’s and it was delicious.

Jake and I both usually have rest days on Friday, so we try to sneak in a family date night on Thursday. We typically grab something out and take little man with us. We love Thursday nights!

When dad takes over the camera. Coop couldn’t stop giggling.

We are grabbing breakfast with my mom and sister here in a little bit! I didn’t sleep great last night, so I’m hoping to join little man for his afternoon nap…we’ll see if that happens. It sure sounds nice right now!
Happy Friday, friends!
