As soon as Coop wakes up, we nurse a little, play, and then chow down on breakfast.

After breakfast Wednesday, we did a little bit of crafting for his nanny’s birthday.

After breakfast and crafts, it was time for a much-needed bath.

Post nap snuggles and a nap.

I signed up for a professional development lecture during lunch on Wednesday. Sometimes working from home as a mom looks like this! Multitasking at its finest.

Dinner Wednesday was ham steaks and dill pickle pasta salad. The pasta salad is delicious and makes a huge amount. Recipe HERE.

Jake taught Coop how to use a fork. He then spend 15 minutes practicing. HA! He’s so fun to watch. Also, how adorable are those little fingers holding that fork?

Mom life after bedtime – frantically folding laundry, answering emails, and trying to relax a little before crawling into bed.

Thursday morning started with some Strider-ing.

After breakfast each morning, Coop watches Ms. Rachel for about 20 minutes while I clean up the kitchen. Why does he look like a teenager?

After I got everything cleaned up after breakfast, we headed out for my run. Coop wanted his sunglasses, which keeps cracking me up. It’s so cute.

I promise he was excited despite the look on his face.

All the leftovers after my run.

It ended up being a rainy, gross day, so we headed to Wonders of Wildlife to meet some friends for some exploring.

I failed to get a picture of all of us, but we had the BEST time with Chelsea and her sweet girls. I got this very blurry picture of the three of them running on this bridge. They were having so much fun.

The otters are always my favorite. We got to watch one swim around and play like crazy.

Coop loved hanging out with the pretty girls. He was trying to impress Lily with some air kicks here.

Thursday night is family date night out! I ordered a big skinny margarita and got this massive drink. HA! Jake and I ending up sharing it. It was delicious.

I love that little man had the arm of his sloth crossed over his body last night while he slept.

We had breakfast with my family this morning, and I need to spend the rest of the day doing a little bit of computer work and getting packed for my race because it is out of town. I am so excited! It’s a road half and I have not done one since November. I am excited to see if I can finish it faster than the one I did it November.
Happy Friday, friends!
