This kid’s obsession with his sunglasses is still going strong! I love that they’re a little crooked in this picture.

We have some rainy days in the forecast this week, so we spent some time outside Monday afternoon soaking up the sunshine.

When I finished up with work for the day, we got some good snuggles in while Coop snoozed.

Dinner was delicious – sweet potato bowls with quinoa, rice, ground turkey, avocado, cheese, salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies, and jalapeños. So. Good. And so easy!

Our evening ended with a little ball pit playtime before bed. This kid loves his ball pit! Thank you, Dawn and Mitch! <3

Tuesday morning, we got up, had breakfast, played, then headed out for a recovery run. My friend, Elise, gave me this weather cover for our BOB stroller and it’s amazing. It was chilly and windy yesterday, so this was perfect for keeping little man nice and toasty.

I listened to a podcast while I ran and Coop took his morning nap.

We had some errands to run…I guess my stroller driving makes him nervous? His little hands gripping the sides of the stroller. Ha!

I had a pretty busy day Tuesday, which ended with a meeting. Two of my three classes end this week, so I have lots and LOTS of grading to knock out before grades are due on Friday. We had leftovers for dinner, another sweet potato bowl.

We finished our 14 days of sleep training! Coop has been sleeping pretty consistently since night three. He goes to bed about 7pm and wakes up between 6 and 6:30am. He occasionally wakes up in the night, but never for longer than a few minutes and he typically always puts himself back to sleep. He slept from 7-6:45 Monday night! I forgot to turn his Owlet on until 8pm, but he did so great. We’re so proud of him and SO thankful we used the Taking Cara Babies sleep training stuff. Everyone is sleeping better! I definitely still miss him at night, but I know this is best for us.

Morning snuggles after someone woke up! Once Coop wakes up, we nurse in our bed and then get up to play. He’s always so snuggly, which I love.

I had been wanting a new pair of Vans and just happened to see some at Kohl’s yesterday. While walking through the aisles, I saw they had youth sizes on sale. I can sometimes fit into kids’ shoes, so I decided to check them out. I ended up getting two pairs for the price of one adult pair!! I was so excited – thank you, small feet. Coop loves them, too.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
