Sometimes ya need two bowls + tempo run – I needed that + SO proud!

Sometimes ya just need two bowls. Ya know? Anyone else? No? Just Coop? Hmmm. And in case you’re wondering, yes, all this food ended up on the floor. It was way more fun to dump it all out than eat it.

Dinner Monday night – ground chicken tacos. YUM. This meal is one of my favorites when I want dinner to be ready in about 10-15 minutes. Ground chicken with taco seasoning, cheese, sour cream, salsa, cherry tomatoes, and jalapeños. So easy!

I cannot tell you the last time I sat down to read a book for fun. I was definitely pregnant, so it’s been over a year. My mom gave me this one a few months ago, and now that Coop’s sleeping in his crib and not our bed, I have time to read at night again! I stayed up too late reading, but it was so nice.

This is the face of someone who slept from 7-6:40! He was up for about an hour around 11pm, but ended up putting himself back to sleep (with some pop-ins from me). I was so proud of him! I’m hoping our hard nights are mostly behind us…we’ll see how the rest of this week goes. Fingers crossed!

I had a tempo run Tuesday, which I had planned to do with the stroller, but my niece is on spring break this week and wanted to play with Coop, so everyone went to my parents’ house for a play date. I ran while they all played together. I was so thankful! Rhea joined me in the sunshine.

The drink break when you finish your hard workout just hits differently. So. Good.

I felt amazing during this run. I ended with a little over nine miles for the day and my pushes felt solid.

After my run, I had lunch with my family, and then Coop and I headed home for nap time. I ended up snoozing with him and it was wonderful. I think we’re all still trying to catch up on sleep from those rough nights last night.

When Jake got home from work, we had a family lifting session in our current gym/prep room set-up. We REALLY need to get our garage gym put back together…

Dinner was leftover tacos and spicy rice, followed by a short family walk. Our favorite kind of night!

After our walk, it was time for bed. We played, snuggled, and Coop was in his crib by 7:30, then Jake and I watched part of an Outer Banks episode. Cooper slept from 7:30 to 5! Straight through. He woke up at 5, but then put himself back to sleep after about 10 seconds. He finally got up for the day about 6:30. SO proud of him! Hoping we are on the other side of those awful nights we were having, at least for now! Like I said, we’ll see how the rest of this week goes.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
