In my feels + I got up early to run! + last day of break

We headed out for my Wednesday recovery run after Coop woke up from his nap. He was very into his snacks.

Coop fell asleep again for about 30 minutes of my run. I listened to a podcast on The Office Ladies and could not stop laughing. I love that podcast so much.

When someone woke up, he was very excited to see all the trees.

Post-run lunch – a wrap, chips, and avocado. Yum.

After lunch, we had bath time. I think he played in the tub for 30 minutes.

The most beautiful snack! Plain Greek yogurt, honey, oats, chia seeds, and frozen fruit.

Dinner was leftover Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken over rice with veggies on the side. We need to remember this meal…it’s so delicious.

We had some family play time before bed. These two were looking at something about cars. Coop kept patting Jake’s head. It was adorable.

I always get a little in my feels when I fold Cooper’s laundry. It reminds me of how I used to long to have tiny clothing to fold and I didn’t know if I would ever get to have that. I think folding his laundry makes me smile every single time. Thank you, Jesus!

I did it!! Finally. I got up at 4am and started running at 4:40. I don’t know how I used to do this four days a week…woof. It DID feel really good to have my hard workout knocked out early in the day. I don’t love running in the dark on my own, but I was thankful to have Rhea with me. And mace. Always mace.

I ended with a little over eight miles for the day and was pretty happy with my effort for the three 8:00 pushes I had.

I chowed down on breakfast after my run. Fried eggs and a waffle. YUM.

We ran errands on Thursday after a wonderful couch nap. I definitely needed a nap after getting up early. I don’t know how Jake does that almost every day of the week…

The last of our Brown Sugar Garlic chicken. So. Good.

This is Cooper’s favorite spot to sit in our kitchen.

We sat outside for a little bit Thursday afternoon and watched the rain.

He has started using this little snack holder on his own. He is pretty excited about it. There are puffs everywhere.

Snacks and The Office!

Vans and hats. I hope we always match.<3

Coop got out of his car seat with his hat like this. We couldn’t stop laughing.

This post is coming to you late today because I had a fun morning hanging out with girlfriends!

Happy Friday, friends!
