I’ve been down for the count + dog or horse? + on the mend?!

I think I am finally on the mend, but WOOF. Between whatever sickness I’ve been fighting and work this week, I am donezoooo. I’ve definitely been down for the count all week. Why does Coop look like a teenager when he lounges in his chair?

Coop loves our TV remotes and wants to carry them with him all over the house. He was rubbing Rhea’s foot with one of them.

I took a shower and got ready while Coop napped Wednesday. Our crib naps aren’t going great, but we aren’t giving up! He’s still sleeping 11-12 straight hours at night, so I’m beyond thankful for that! I’m not too worried about the naps.

Our hat-loving guy wants to have a hat with him at all times. It cracks me up.

Dinners this week have been all about simple and quick. Steamed green beans and a cowboy griller. YUM.

Thursday morning jammies and snuggles before we started our day.

When you dump milk into your medicine instead of your coffee…I almost dumped it out because it looked so gross, but I didn’t want to waste it, so I chugged it as fast as I could. It was disgusting. I should’ve wasted it.

I am thankful for Rhea’s patience. She loves Coop so much and I love watching them play together.

Coop has also started climbing on her. She always gives him kisses when he does. It’s adorable.

Her face in this one…”Mom, get this kid off of me!” And I did. Rhea is such a gentle dog. I love watching her with Coop, but I also try to watch for when she needs a break from being climbed on, ha!

Couch cuddles when I needed a break from work and Coop needed some mama time. I am SO ready to get this portfolio submitted. I think I’ll have it submitted within the next hour or so!

Little man is teething, so breastmilk popsicles for the win!

Just a little early morning book reading and a hat. Coop slept from 6:50pm until 7am. Straight through! He’s amazing.

We are headed to AR for the weekend for back-to-back races for Jake! Coop and I are going to stay cooped up at the Airbnb until I feel 100%. Hoping that’s tomorrow so I can go cheer Jake on at his race Sunday! I’m thankful neither of them have gotten my cold. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Happy Friday, friends!
