Soaking it up + back to running + my next race

The second Coop wakes up in the morning, he wants to nurse. I think this nursing session will be the hardest for us to cut out. I’m soaking it all up! I love these snuggles.

This is how Coop spent his time Monday morning. He cracks me up.

Our poor nanny has had a stomach bug all week, so my meetings have looked like this. HA! Thankful that Coop is pretty good about playing by himself. He does love to wave at everyone in my meetings. It’s pretty cute.

I can’t believe how big he’s getting.

I got Coop these magnetic animals for our fridge and he is OBSESSED. I got THESE for him. He will sit here and move them around for 30 minutes at a time.

Tuesday morning started with my first run in nine or ten days!! Cool man Coop needed sunnies and hat. He’s staring at himself in his mirror in this picture.

I had an hour long recovery run. It felt SO good to move. I did some running and walking, but I am so happy to be back running.

We ran to the coffee shop for a snack.

Then to vote before heading back home. Coop rocked his sunnies the whole time we were inside voting. Everyone got a kick out of him.

Back home, we knocked out some things around the house. Coop helped me put laundry away. He loves sitting in Jake’s closet.

Jake worked all night last night, so we made sure to send him lots of pictures. Coop wasn’t about his high chair, so I grabbed our travel chair and put it on the table next to me. He LOVED this.

Night two of sweet potato bowls – baked sweet potato, chicken, cheese, and bbq sauce. Easy and delicious.

I have a trail marathon next weekend. It’s a training run for my 50k in June, but after being sick for nine days, I’m feeling behind. I’m sure it’s going to take me longer than I’d like and is going to hurt, but I know it’ll be good training. Hopefully by next weekend I am feeling more energized!

Happy Wednesday, friends!
