Bathtub or toilet? + diving into these books + family date night!

That’s one way to relax in your armchair…

I made a pork shoulder for the first time in the crockpot Wednesday night. It was delicious! I added some broth, garlic, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, thyme, potatoes, carrots, and half a yellow onion.

After getting dinner in the crockpot, we headed out for my recovery run and Coop’s morning nap.

After my run, I decided to let Coop play in the bathtub for a little bit. I had literally just finished washing him when he pooped everywhere. Soooo, we had to cut his bath short. He was pretty upset.

He got over once we started playing. Poor kid loves bath time and could stay in there for an hour.

We added a salad to our pork shoulder and veggies. This dinner was delicious!

I have been binging Kara and Des’ new podcast during my runs, so I had to also get both of their books that just came out. I am about halfway through Kara’s so far and it is SO good.

Breakfast Thursday morning with this goofball. This kid is such a ham! He keeps me laughing all the dang time.

Cooper Ray, being your mama is my greatest joy.

We headed out for Coop’s nap and my tempo run Thursday morning. This schedule is working so great for us right now. I don’t know what we’ll do when we have bad weather…but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Coop passed out about two minutes into my run. This weather is amazing. So. Amazing.

I ended with a little over seven miles for the day and Coop snoozed for most of it!

When I finished up with work for the day, Coop got to play in the bath tub (no accidents today!!), and then we headed outside to swing while we waited for Jake to get home from work. This kid hasn’t used a pacifier in six months, but sometimes he’ll find one and just chew on it. Ha!

The Vans Aunt Chelsea got Coop before he was born finally fit, so he tested them out yesterday. Why is he so cool?!

We went to Brew Co for our Thursday night family date. Coop and I colored a little bit.

Jake and I shared our favorite salad – shaved brussels – and a veggie pizza. It was all delicious, but I was wishing the pizza had had more cheese on it.

Big fan of Mac and Cheese.

Family date night is my favorite.

Friday morning feels while watching Ms. Rachel…

Happy Friday, friends!
