This weekend has been BONKERS, but in all the best ways. I didn’t get a post up Friday because the day was super busy, so there’s lots to catch up on today. Let’s take it all the way back to Wednesday night – my friend, Adrienne, hosted a fun happy hour with wine and snacks.

Coop crashed our girls’ night, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

IVF update – we have started things for our mock transfer cycle! Our clinic starts everyone on birth control so we are all on the same cycle, which allows them to do all major appointments on the same few days (egg retrievals and transfers). So, I started my birth control and a bunch of different vitamins Wednesday night. I have my first ultrasound and lab appointment on Thursday of this week.

Coop is reading the instructions for this current cycle. I love how focused he looks.

I forgot how sick all the stuff I’m taking right now makes me feel. I was down for the count most of Thursday. Coop let me take a 30 minute nap while watched Ms. Rachel, so that was amazing. If I take all the stuff I’m on at night, I sleep through the worst of it, so I started doing that and haven’t felt too nauseated since.

Thursday night, we had our Moms’ Night Out meet-up. We went to Wire Road and had the best time!! I look forward to our outings every month!

Friday was our fifth wedding anniversary. It feels like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time. I love reliving the memories of our wedding day. We got married in Breckinridge, CO. We just had our families with us and it was the PERFECT day.

Friday morning, we went strawberry picking. My friend, Cassie, is in town from Washington, and she mentioned going berry picking, which sounded so fun. My mom, sister, and nieces joined us, too.

We had so much fun, especially this one who would not stop eating any berry he saw…

After picking strawberries, we spent a little bit of time at my parents’ pool before heading home for nap time. Coop was all smiles when he got up.

Jake got home from work and brought a few yummy things with him, like a 12 pack of mango White Claws. Coop was pretty excited about that and carried a can around with him for a little bit.

He is signing ‘more’ to me because I wouldn’t open the can for him. Ha!

Jake’s parents came over to watch Coop for us while we went out to celebrate our anniversary! We went to Metro, one of our favorites.

We both had delicious steaks.

Happy five years to my best friend!

You’re one lucky dude. ; )

After dinner, we were both tired and just feeling lazy, so we went back to our house and hung out with Jake’s parents for a little bit. It was a super fun, relaxing night! They did bedtime with Coop, which was the first time someone has put him to sleep other than me or Jake. He did great! I’m so thankful he’s such a good nighttime sleeper.

Saturday morning snuggles before breakfast. This kid has been sleeping in until almost 7am the past few days. It’s been so nice! He usually gets up between 5:45 and 6am, so 7am feels like forever.

After breakfast, we headed out for a family run.

Then it was time for me to shower followed by bath time for little man.

We had a wedding Saturday evening. Coop and Jett were pretty excited about the llamas that were waiting after the ceremony.

We didn’t get to stay at the reception very long, but it was nice to catch up with some of our friends. We loved this Photo Booth, too.

My favorite wedding dates.

These two little besties were the most handsome guys at the wedding!

Since we had to leave before we ate dinner, Jake dropped me and Coop off at home so I could get him to bed, and Jake went to pick up Peking House. We relaxed outside and enjoyed dinner while Coop snoozed.

Sunday morning started with a delicious breakfast before Jake headed off to golf and Coop and I headed to the pool.

We had the best time swimming and playing.

Jake joined us after golfing.

Coop played so hard and was so sleepy, but refused to nap. Jake finally got him down. While they snuggled, I got to hang out with my girlfriends. I can’t wait for lots more pool time this summer!

Happy Monday, friends!
