I am still waiting on a surgery update, so nothing to share with you yet. I am beyond thankful for all the prayers and kind words – we have the best people! My sweet friend, Brittany, gave me this card last week and it meant so much to me. I am trying to be patient, but I’m beyond ready to get this surgery over with.

Dinner Friday night was this big ole bowl of pasta. It was delicious. Elbow noodles, Alfredo sauce, peas, mushrooms, and prosciutto – all topped with shaved Parmesan. YUM. I do gluten-free and dairy-free for my transfer (we did the same with Coop), so I’m binging all things gluten and dairy until then. HA!

Plus some hot sauce. Always. Hot sauce.

After dinner on Friday, I snuck up to Metro for a birthday drink with this pretty gal! I hope you had the best night celebrating, Adrienne!

Saturday morning snuggles. These two let me sleep in, which was AMAZING. Coop usually goes to bed about 7/7:30 and is up between 5:30 and 6:30. I usually get up with him during the week because Jake runs super early, so I get to sleep in on Fridays and sometimes Saturdays. It’s pretty perfect for our schedules right now.

Jake and I both skipped our runs Saturday. A family walk sounded much nicer than a run, so that’s just what we did. Coop snoozed will we walked.

Coop takes a selfie. This made me laugh so hard.

We spent most of the day at the pool Saturday, so we were worn out when we got home. I was thankful dinner was pretty much ready – Leftover pasta plus some garlic bread.

Coop made this cute card for Jake for Father’s Day. Thank you, Pinterest, for the idea!

I love watching Jake be a Dad – he’s the best. Here are some of my favorite pictures of my two best boys.

We had our families over for dinner Sunday night to celebrate Father’s Day. Jake grilled the most delicious tri tip for everyone. It was wonderful.

Everyone else brought sides and dessert. I was stuffed after we ate…it was all just so good!

Coop sure is lucky to have Jake as his Daddy!

I have slowly started to pack for our Florida trip. I feel like it takes me forever to pack for both myself and Cooper. We leave early Saturday morning. I can’t wait! If you have any tips for a beach trip with a toddler, send them my way, please!
Happy Monday, friends!
