We ran a few errands Monday and had to stop in to see our friends, Chelsea, Lily, and Ellison. These two snuggled on a dog bed.

I worked on my computer most of Monday while my mom watched Coop. When Jake got home from work, he started hauling our landscaping rock to one of the areas out by our driveway. Here’s the before and after. SO excited for this to be finished!

Dinner, Monday night was one of our favorites – sweet potatoes with chicken, barbecue sauce, and dairy free cheese. On the side we had rice, beets, brussels, and lots of hot sauce. This meal was delicious.

We are working on getting this wild man to sleep in his crib all night again. We got in a bad habit/out of our routine while we were in Florida. We are slowly getting back into it! He’s waking up once in the middle of the night, but he’s putting himself back to sleep within 20 minutes, so we’re getting there!

Naps on the other hand usually look like this. Or in his stroller. And that’s okay! I love the snuggles. We dropped a nap, so he’s only napping once a day, but he’s sleeping for about 2-2.5 hours. I think that was also part of the nighttime problem. Sleep is SO tricky. And just when you feel like you understand it and have it down, something changes.

After his nap, we watched a little Bluey before going outside to play.

Jake came home from work and immediately started hauling more rock to our two big flower beds in front of our house. His dad saw him working and came over to help. The two of them knocked out BOTH beds in about an hour and half. It looks SO good. We were so used to seeing dirt and weeds here…it makes such a huge difference.

Cooper was a huge help with spreading the rock. He was excited to use his shovel and bucket.

Dinner last night was random leftovers all thrown together – beets, sweet potatoes, chicken, and rice. It was delicious! Plus some wine, which was extra delicious.

After dinner, we gave Coop his very own set of golf clubs. He was so excited! It was so fun to see him playing with them in the yard.

We played in the rocks this morning before Coop’s nanny came over while I worked. I have a feeling we will be out in these A LOT.

I forgot it was Wednesday, which is why this post is so late. HA!
Happy Wednesday, friends!
