This kid is still loving his potty. He’s not using it, but he’s a big fan of standing in it. We will have to teach him not to stand in it once he starts using it…we don’t need footprints of urine all over the house. Ha!

Coop loves pretending to drive, so while we waited for Jake to get home from work Friday, we drove up and down our street.

This guy had a busy weekend with training and working, so we soaked up the time we got to spend with him.

My birth mom came over for dinner Friday and Jake grilled us the most delicious pork chops. We also had dill pickle pasta salad (it’s amazing) and green cabbage on the side. YUM.

Dawn and Coop had a dance party on the kitchen floor. Haha!

Saturday morning started with a stroller run! I wasn’t going to run at all this week, but I have felt SO much better, so we headed out. Coop was way to cool in his sunnies.

Wild man.

I am over the heat and humidity we’re having (Jake may just be able to convince me to move to the mountains after our weather this summer), but it sure did feel good to run!

After my run, we headed to Fellows Lake to cheer Jake on during a 25k he signed up for at the last minute.

After Jake’s race, he grabbed Jimmy John’s for us for lunch, then he snagged a quick nap while Coop and I played. Once he got up, he took Coop on a drive and I took a nap. It was wonderful. We went out for dinner later that evening – Cesar’s is always a good choice. I LOVE their sangria. It’s the best. Ever.

We grabbed dinner early, so had time to watch an entire movie before Coop went to bed. Jake suggested Aladdin and it was maybe the best idea he’s ever had. Coop loved every second and so did we. I had forgotten how much I loved Aladdin!

Sunday morning started with a long walk while little man snoozed. It’s the hand in the snack cup while sleeping for me…

I knocked out a little meal prep Sunday afternoon. Lunches this week are jasmine rice, veggies, and teriyaki chicken. YUM.

We had our weekly family dinner at Jake’s parents’ house Sunday evening. We had delicious brats and then Coop and his Ganny played shuffleboard for an hour. Ha! Coop LOVES their shuffleboard table. It’s adorable.

I just submitted final grades, so I have a few weeks off before the fall semester starts. Coop and I are gonna try to squeeze in all the fun things before then!
Happy Monday, friends!
