We have been trying to get outside each morning before it gets crazy hot. This kid is always all smiles the second we step out the front door.

Why is he getting so big?? I can’t handle it.

These lunches have hit the spot this week. Jasmine rice, veggies, teriyaki chicken, and a little cheese on top. I add a little Lawry’s salt after I heat them up. So delicious.

Monday was a busy day…I spent most of it working and cleaning. Poor Jake has been working 16 hour shifts since Sunday evening due to the storms we had Sunday night. He is only off for 8 hours each day, so he comes home, talks to us for a few minutes, and then passes out. So thankful to our linemen. I don’t know how they do what they do. We are definitely missing our guy. Dinner Monday night was pasta salad. Pretty tasty!

Jake got home about 3:30pm Monday afternoon, ate, and then went to bed. I tried my best to keep Coop quiet until his own bedtime. Once I got Coop down, I hopped on the treadmill for my 30 minutes recovery run. I wasn’t sure how it would go – I don’t love running in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised! I felt pretty good and read the entire time I ran.

I worked Tuesday morning, Coop took a looooong nap, then we headed outside for some water fun.

He loved it.

Jake came home from working another 16 hour shift. He hung with us for a little bit before I made him go to bed. We all can’t wait for him to be back on his regular work schedule.

We had a little bit of a rough evening, so dinner was eaten like this. Sometimes in parenthood, it’s all about survival…A few of my mom friends and I realized it was a full moon, so we’re blaming the craziness of the day on that.

More pasta salad for dinner last night. This time with cheese and hot sauce. YUM.

We are having a much better day today! We had some post breakfast snuggles on the couch before Coop’s nanny came over so I could work.

I started meds for our mock transfer today. First up is all the estrogen – a patch that I change out every few days and an oral estrogen that I take twice a day. Right now, we’re planning to do the endometrial biopsy mid-August. Getting closer!

Happy Wednesday, friends!
