This girl hasn’t been getting enough running time, so I’ve been trying to do a better job of taking her with me when I don’t have the stroller. I’m working with her on this waist leash so I can take her when I have the stroller, too. We also need it to cool down a little bit…she doesn’t love the heat.
Jake’s mom got Coop this 2T shirt and he was so excited to wear it…even if it is a little bit too long for him.

Friday night, we grabbed dinner out before heading to a birthday party. Coop rocked his pineapple button-up.
We had sushi from a new place here in town called Thai Palace. The sushi was great, but Jake didn’t love his chicken meal. I tried it and it was preying terrible. We’ll try it again for sushi, but probably nothing else!
After dinner, we went to 4 By 4 to celebrate Leanna’s birthday! Coop was with us, so we didn’t stay super late, but it was nice to see everyone.
He was a trooper even though he was up an hour past bedtime.

Saturday afternoon, we headed to a first birthday party to celebrate Olivia!
Coop inhaled a cupcake and then we headed to my parents’ house to eat dinner with them.
Sunday morning started with a stroller run while Jake knocked out a three hour trail run.
I was cleaning the kitchen and heard Coop giggling…this is the scene I walked in on. He was very excited about sitting on top of his bus.
Sunday afternoon was spent at the pool, which was so nice.
Snacks at the pool just hit different. They’re somehow better. I can’t explain it.
This is my last full week before meetings starts, so we’re soaking it all up. This summer has absolutely flown by! I still can’t believe it’s August.
