Slow & steady + IVF mid-cycle appointment + girls’ night!

I had an easy recovery run to knock out Wednesday morning. Since it was rainy and storming, I hopped on the treadmill. I wasn’t really feeling a run, so I did a run/walk to get my 30 minutes in.

We FaceTimed my mom and she said she was about to pull some cookies out of the oven, so we immediately hopped in the car to go enjoy some fresh baked monster cookies. It sure is nice to live five minutes from my parents! Coop devoured a cookie and then got right to playing. He wanted to stand in this play gym with his baby doll.

Then Tutu busted out some pink matching slippers with bows. Can you tell he is the only grandson? HA!

Bowls of random food make my favorite meals. This one had chicken, avocado, sweet potato, brussles, and goat cheese. So good.

Thursday morning started with my mid-cycle appointment for our mock transfer. Everything is looking good! My lining is 10.3. Our clinic wants it to be at least at an 8, so the meds are working like they should. There is still a spot they’re watching. They think it’s healing from surgery, but we’re keeping an eye on it. Getting closer to our actual transfer!

I headed out for a run after my appointment. This cooler weather is AMAZING.

This was my longest run in awhile! Making slow and steady progress, which feels good.

My Dyson died the other day. I had had it about 12 years, so I’m guessing it was about time. Jake loves all things Ryobi, so we went with their cordless vacuum. It was delivered yesterday, so I had to try it out. It’s pretty sweet!

Big fan of PB&Js…it’s the jelly on the forehead for me.

Our current favorite snack – baby carrots and chocolate hummus.

I had girls’ night last night, so I made sure Coop would be fine while I was gone. ; ) KIDDING. He shut himself in here and wouldn’t stop giggling. Jake was with him while I was gone – just in case anyone was worried.

Girls’ night is the best night of the entire month!! So thankful for these incredible women.

Coop was casually reading the manual for new vacuum this morning after breakfast. He cracks me up.

Happy Friday, friends!
