This wild man and I had a fun Friday at home. When Jake got home from work, we headed to his dad and stepmom’s for dinner, then Jake headed into work for a little bit.

I finally caught Coop on video saying “I love you”. It was the sweetest. These two got some snuggles in before Jake left for work.

We had a lazy Saturday that started with Bluey and coffee.

It was pretty rainy most of the weekend, but we ventured out for a stroller run.

Then I knocked out a little bit of meal prep. Jake and I have both been craving breakfast burritos, so that is what I made for this week. I like making a big batch of them and freezing the extras.

I also roasted a bunch of potatoes to go with burgers for lunches this week.

This goofball wanted to sit (and stand) in his dad’s chair while he had a snack.

Jake doesn’t make a big deal out of birthdays, but they are my favorite thing in the entire world. I always like to wrap his presents and sit them out a few days early so he has to stare at them. Ha! Poor Jake.

Nothing is safe anymore… He has figured out how to crawl up on top of this table behind our couch. This was the last spot that I thought was safe for decorations. I was wrong.

Saturday night, we had the most fun double date night with Britney and Jonathan. We always have the best time with them! Our husbands were with us, we just failed to get a picture with them…

We ate dinner at Cesar’s and then went to 4 By 4 to listen to some live music. We both sipped on these delicious frozen margaritas. They were amazing.

We went to breakfast as a family Sunday morning at Gailey’s‘s. Coop fell asleep on the drive there, so he snoozed on Jake while we waited for our table.

I enjoyed the bagel and lox meal. It was so good!

We loved getting to celebrate our best guy this weekend. We hope he has the best birthday!!

After brunch on Sunday, I got started with finishing up our meal prep for the week. I sent bread with Jake for his burgers and I’ll add lettuce and tomato to mine after I heat them up.

Last night, we did dinner with Jake’s parents, just like we do every Sunday. We had tri tip, salad, potatoes, and brussels. It was delicious!

My mom came over to watch Coop for me for a little bit this morning. Rhea and I snuck out for a run after I knocked out a little work. This weather is my favorite.

Having all of this prepped makes me so happy. It takes so much pressure off trying to throw together good food. It was also SO good. I inhaled this plate.

We closed on our house three years ago, which seems like forever ago, but also yesterday at the same time.

We can’t wait to celebrate Jake tonight!! He wanted to grill, so that’s what we are going to do!
Happy Monday, friends!
