Here’s a Tuesday blog to catch you up on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! It’s been a busy weekend. Between traveling to Arkansas for work, and then St. Louis for IVF, it’s just been go go go! Thursday started with a little sleeping in for us…Coop slept until almost 8:30! I couldn’t believe it. He woke up at 4am upset, so I just put him in bed with us. Not a habit I want to fall into, but I was just so dang tired when he woke up crying. Why is sleep so hard?!

I am so proud of myself. I finally did my own PIO (progesterone in oil) injection! I have been trying to work up the courage for years to do these…it finally happened. I will say, there’s no way I could’ve done it without this auto injector. It’s a game changer. The needle is just so long that it makes me nervous. This way, I don’t even have to worry about it.

We are still slowly building back a running base. I am so ready for fall temperatures…

Bath time Coop is a whole mood.

I had back to back meetings Thursday, so our nanny was with Coop. If I’m in Zoom meetings, you can find me with make up on, a cute shirt, and sweats. Always.

I also prepped to do my second solo shot. I always sit on a heating pad after I put numbing cream on. It helps so much.

Burger and potato bites – delicious.

Friday morning started with a 4am wake-up. I had to be on campus for PD from 9-4, so I left the house at 5am. Jake also left about that same time to fly to Colorado, so Jake’s mom came over and spent the entire day with Cooper. He loved every second! I have about a 4 hour drive to campus, so I had about 8 hours in the car round trip on Friday. It was long day! Luckily, our workday ended an hour early, so I was back home about 7pm and got to eat with Coop and do bedtime. This was my longest time away from him and I missed him so much.

I had to do my shot while on campus, so I did it in the bathroom. Fun.

I couldn’t put this wild man down as soon as I got home. So thankful for a job where I don’t have to be gone from him. It ain’t for me!

My grandparents from Florida were in town all last week, so we spent as much time as we could with them. Saturday morning, we headed over to my parents’ house to hang out for a little bit, then I headed out for a run. My parent’s’ neighborhood is crazy hilly, so between hills and heat, I was toast!

My mom sent me this picture of Coop while I was running. I couldn’t stop laughing.

When I got back from my run, Coop’s dreams came true – he got to get in the pool!

Gosh, how are you this cute??????

He loved getting to swim with Gigi and Grandpa. It was so wonderful getting to spend time with them!

Saturday night, since Jake was still gone and my parents and grandparents had dinner plans, Coop and I had a mommy son sushi date night. Sam’s sushi for the win!

I also knocked out a little bit of meal prep – garlic pepper chicken and veggies. I’ll make bowls with this and add rice.

I asked Coop to hold my hand and this is what he did. He is literally the sweetest boy on the planet.

Coop is back to sitting on Rhea any chance he get. It cracks me up.

More tomorrow because this blog is longggggg!
Happy Tuesday, friends!
