Mock transfer + all the stuffed animals + glad his Dad is home!

Rewinding to Sunday – This kid is on this little bike almost all day long. He loves it. We need to get back to working on balancing on his Strider with him.

My least favorite part of IVF – suppositories. I hate these so much. I have to do them every other day, in the morning and at night. I would much rather do an injection than these.

Sunday morning, we headed out for some miles. It was already SO hot.

Coop snoozed for most of my run.

Lunch after our run was leftover sushi from the night before.

Just playing on his phone while sitting on Rhea.

Second to last shot for this mock transfer!

Monday morning, I got ready for us to head to STL for my ERA (endometrial receptivity analysis) for our mock transfer. My appointment was at 12:30, so we left about 8 to give us enough time for a few stops and to make sure we could get somewhere for me to do my shot at noon.

So thankful my mom could go with us since Jake was still in Colorado.

The ERA is painful, but it’s over quickly. They start out like they’re doing a Pap smear, then insert a long tube and scrape your uterus to collect a sample of tissue. That’s it! Then they send the tissue to a lab, so now we wait. I think last time we did this, it took about 3-4 weeks to get results, so I’ll get a little break from hormones until we start our actual transfer. We are getting closer!

I walked out to this after my procedure. Coop sure does love his Tutu.

As soon as I was finished, I took Coop from my mom and immediately started crying. Between the hormones, IVF in general, and being in the same building where our final baby is frozen, I just broke down. It was so special holding our miracle baby in the same building where he was created, frozen, and housed, all while knowing his sibling is still in there.

We grabbed lunch after my procedure and a beer was much needed.

This wild man decided he needed to hold both his water and his milk before bedtime Monday night. Jake got home at midnight, so we were both anxiously awaiting his arrival!

After Coop went to bed Monday night, I portioned out our lunches before I crawled into bed. Meal prep saves me so much time during the week. If I can spend about two hours prepping, it makes my entire week run so much smoother.

I headed out for a run Tuesday afternoon. I didn’t feel great. I was still crampy and had some bleeding from my ERA Monday, and it was crazy hot, so I did a 60 minute run/walk. Better than nothing!

I topped my bowl with Jake’s aunt’s homemade ranch and hot sauce. So. Good.

I love the different ways he will lounge on the couch. It always makes me laugh.

He wanted all of his stuffed animals in his crib with him. It wasn’t nap time, he just wanted to sit in here with them. I love watching his little brain work.

I couldn’t find Coop…he and his bike were in my closet with the doors shut. HA!

This kid is always reading. It makes the reading teacher in me so happy.

Taco Tuesday? Yes, please.

Soaking up all the time with his Daddy. We loved that Jake got to go pace one of our good friends in a hundred over the weekend, but we definitely missed him!

Happy Wednesday, friends!
