Weekend Wrap-up: y’all things birthday + very blessed + IVF update!

What. A. Weekend. I’m still trying to recover from all the fun! Friday started with a fun play date and mimosas, then I headed to the spa for a facial and a massage. It was so relaxing!

After the spa, it was back home to try and get caught up on all the things. I did some laundry and a little cleaning, then we all headed outside and watched Jake work on the van. Cooper loves to help with ANYTHING, so he helped whenever Jake needed it.

Coop took a quick bath before bedtime and rocked this adorable robe.

Saturday morning started with breakfast as a family, and then Coop and I headed out for a run. He passed out within about five minutes.

I got the prettiest delivery Saturday when we got back to the house. How gorgeous are these flowers? My sweet birth mom sent them. Coop won’t stop ‘smelling’ them…aka breathing on them very heavily.

Saturday night, Jake and I snuck out for a date night to celebrate my birthday just the two of us! On our way to get drinks before dinner, we ran into some friends. I was super excited to see them!

I loved getting to have a date night with this handsome dude.

We grabbed drinks at Good Spirits before heading to dinner. It is the cutest little place.

They even brought us some birthday champagne!

Their espresso martini was incredible!

Thank you for making my birthday (and every day) so wonderful!!

After drinks, we headed to Ariake for dinner. Holy yum. This is their scallop appetizer. So. Good.

I have no clue what any of the rest of this is called, but everything we had was outstanding.

We took Ubers everywhere, which was a good thing. All those drinks snuck up on us! HA!

Sunday was my actual birthday and I got to wake up to these cuddles. The absolute best!

When we finally got up Sunday, we headed out for a family run. The weather felt so good, but woof, we felt all the fun we had the night before.

We made a pit stop for a snack on the trail and then walked back home. It was a fun morning with my boys!

After our run, it was back home to watch the Chiefs and let little man nap. I soaked up these snuggles.

Sunday night, we headed to Mother’s for a semi-surprise party (I kept ruining the plans…whoops.) But we had so much fun and all the kiddos ran around like crazy. We all may or may not have enjoyed some good beer…

I have the best friends!! Love these women so big.

Someone must’ve gone down the slide about 100 times…his hair would stick up like this every single time. It cracked us up!

This weekend was so fun – thank you to everyone for the sweet birthday wishes! You sure know how to make a gal feel loved!

I have my first appointment for our IVF transfer TOMORROW. Which is crazy. I still can’t wrap my head around everything, but I’m getting excited. And nervous. And just trying to stay realistic. But I’m mostly excited!

Happy Monday, friends!
