Coop did really well at swim on Monday. He is still working on holding his float for longer periods of time, and it really is amazing to see the progress he’s made!

BLTs and brussels were on the menu for dinner Monday after swim. I always need meals that are quick and easy to throw together on Monday nights. This was delicious!

I grabbed this with our last grocery order and holy yum…it is incredible. It’s not very hot, but has the perfect balance of heat and sweet. Mmm.

Tuesday morning, we had some snuggles before I left for my IVF baseline appointment. This is Coop’s new favorite thing to do for pictures – he’ll say “cheeeeeese” and smile real big.

So far, things are looking good! We are waiting for me to start a period and then I’ll start meds for our TRANSFER! I told Jake it’s so crazy to think about everything being my last time. This was my last baseline appointment, which is hard to wrap my head around. We’ve been doing IVF since 2020. I can’t believe it’s about to be over.

Cooper woke up at 3:30am Tuesday morning and refused to go back to sleep, so I got up with him. I really started to crash about 10am, but had a lot to do yesterday, so I headed out for a run with the hopes it would wake me up. The first 10 minutes were awful and I almost stopped a million times, but after that, I turned on some rap and knocked out my miles. I like to either listen to podcasts or music when I run and yesterday was just not a day for a podcast. I needed the music for motivation.

Holy. Yum. These chickpea and sticky rice lettuce wraps were phenomenal. I kind of followed THIS recipe. 10/10 recommend. We will absolutely be having these again.

Coop loved them, too! He was inhaling the sticky rice and chickpeas faster than I could get them on his plate.

Cheeeeeeese!

Can you tell someone picked out his own hat AND put it on his head all by himself? He walked out into the kitchen holding the clothespin I use for his hats with his hat sitting like this on his head. I couldn’t stop laughing.

I just heard from our clinic with instructions. I will start meds Sunday, as long as I have a period between now and then. And ladies, I am going to have one. I think I could cry if someone looked at me wrong. Ya feel me? Hormones, man. They suck. Buuuut, that’s all good news and we’re on the right track so far! Fingers crossed it stays that way.
Happy Wednesday, friends!
