Weekend Wrap-up: blogs aren’t happening like normal + long car day + FINALLY

I got all my pictures uploaded on Monday, but then got busy and forgot to post my blog. Ha! So here’s the Weekend Wrap-up and today’s post. Friday was the best day because I got a McAlister’s club for dinner. I had been craving one for a few days. Always, always get extra honey mustard. McAlister’s has the best honey mustard ever.

Our sweet nanny gave me this book for Christmas and I am already almost finished with it. It’s so good!

I had a long day in the car Saturday. I drove to Little Rock for graduation, then came straight home. It was about 8 hours in the car, but it was nice to have some time to listen to music and some podcasts.

I walked into the living room to see this – Coop always steals Lu’s bed, but this was the first time he had put it on the coffee table. HA!

We had brats, Mac and cheese, and salad for dinner Saturday night. It was delicious.

After dinner, we finished watching Home Alone 2. Coop would exclaim, “oh no!” whenever anything big happened.

Jake’s parents made the coolest playroom for Coop under their stairs. He LOVES it and especially loves the chalkboard wall! It’s the coolest area.

Football and Chinese food Sunday night – yes, please.

Coop and his G had the best time playing and dressing up. They kept the rest of us laughing.

They weren’t kidding when they said you pop with your second pregnancy! If I didn’t know there was only one baby in here, I’d think we were having twins or triplets!

I decided to stop lying around feeling sorry for myself. I texted my coach and told her I was ready to start working out again. I haven’t been doing ANYTHING. And there’s nothing wrong with that when you’re pregnant, especially that first trimester. Rest is so important, but I just know my body feels so much better when I do SOMETHING. So I knocked out a strength workout Monday morning. Coop helped. And yes, I am very sore right now.

I snuck away for a prenatal massage Monday afternoon, and it was amazing.

When your nap is REAL good…his hair cracks me up.

I finally did it, friends…I finally woke up before Coop and got a workout in. It was just a walk on the treadmill, but it felt so good to do something. I felt better all day, too, so I know my body needs this movement. I also read the whole time I walked, which was amazing. I was also able to knock out a shower before Coop woke up.

Coop and I have been sharing this plate of goodness the past few days. I love that he loves ketchup on his eggs, too. There’s no other way to eat eggs. I usually like hot sauce AND ketchup, but I’m trying to watch how much hot sauce I’m having because pregnancy heartburn is real.

Coop has been very into feeding his stuffed animals with bottles lately. It’s adorable.

We got outside to enjoy the sunshine Tuesday afternoon. This goofball loved riding around in his Jeep, throwing rocks, and jumping in leaves.

Pasta night is the best night.

Sometimes ya just need to make Peanut Butter Blossom cookies, even if all you have are mini kisses. These might be the best I’ve ever had. I followed THIS recipe.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
