Culinary masterpiece? + favorite Colleen Hoover book + outside!

I shared this on my stories thinking it sounded delicious, but a lot of people said it had to be a pregnancy craving. I still think I’d eat it not pregnant, but I guess time will tell! Spaghetti noodles, Italian dressing, and shredded cheese, all heated up. It’s so delicious. I ate two big bowls..

Our nanny gave me this book for Christmas. I had never heard of it, but was so excited to have a new book. I read it in two days. Oh my gosh, it’s so good. This is probably my favorite Colleen Hoover book. 11/10 recommend.

I was craving a burger, but I don’t want anything grilled right now because the smoky flavor upsets my stomach. I made burgers in the oven and they were delicious. We topped them with fresh jowl, avocado, and cheese. I seasoned the jowl with garlic, black pepper, and brown sugar, and we used Hawaiian buns. I think the mixture of flavors is what made these so good. Jake said this was maybe the best burger he’d ever had, and that’s saying something. He loves grilling. We will definitely be making these again.

My friend, Courtney, sent a picture of her and her kiddos having donuts Thursday morning, and I told her that after seeing that, I needed a donut. She’s the sweetest ever and brought over a box of four! I had already inhaled one and maybe sampled all the others before I took this picture…thank you, Courtney, for making my day!!

Little man and I did a little coloring and then worked on this fun activity his Parents as Teachers rep brought for him. You rip up pieces of tissue paper, and then crumple them into little balls to put into a water bottle. Coop loves it.

Then we headed outside for a walk! We haven’t walked in who knows how long…it felt good to get outside and move.

He passed out about two minutes into my walk.

Coop woke up after only 30 minutes and didn’t want to go back down. So, instead of his regular two hour nap, he only got 30 minutes. I was expecting him to have a rough afternoon since he didn’t nap very long, but he surprised me and did great! It didn’t seem to phase him at all. He had had swim last night and then we grabbed dinner with my parents, which we loved. Jake is in AR today running a portion of the Buffalo River Trail with one of his running friends. We can’t wait to hear all about it!

We are a little over 13 weeks into this pregnancy, which is crazy. I can’t believe we’re almost to the second trimester. The days go slowly, but time as a whole is flying. I know this little boy will be here before we know it!

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday!
