All. The. Activities. + back to work + 17 weeks!

We tried all the new activities while we were stuck inside this week. I think I had more fun with this one than he did, ha! He DID love ripping everything down…

My first real meal in about two weeks. I was so happy! I cannot eat any meat right now and most vegetables sound disgusting. It’s hard to find things to eat that sound good. I’ve been living off of bagels, fried egg sandwiches, and cottage cheese. I ordered some cheese manicotti from Sam’s, which was incredible. And I made some green beans. Coop and I devoured this plate and had a second one. I was so happy to eat something other than a bagel.

My sister and her girls came over to play for a little bit yesterday. I told Cooper they were coming and he hopped up in this chair and sat here until they got to our house. It was at least 20 minutes! Ha! He was so excited to have someone to play with other than his mom.

Coop brought his helmet over to me to put on for him. I assumed he was going to ride his bike. I was wrong – he wanted to get on his horse. Safety first over here!

More good food stuff – tortilla chips with melted cheese and cottage cheese with avocado. YUM.

Breakfast this morning was an English muffin with peanut butter and honey and some yogurt. Plus all the coffee. All of it. I’m trying to watch how much caffeine I have, but mannnn, that’s tough with a toddler who isn’t sleeping great. Everyone is telling me that being pregnant with a toddler is harder than having a newborn and a toddler, so I’m holding onto that hope.

I officially started back to work Tuesday. I worked through most of our break, but my spring classes started this week, so we’re jumping back into things! I will be taking the summer off, since we’re having a baby in June, so I’m trying to get those courses put together for an adjunct to teach while I’m out. I have taught in the summers since 2015, so it will be strange not to be teaching! I have a feeling we will have our hands full with a toddler and a newborn…

We are 17 weeks with this baby today! Overall, the time is flying, but each day seems to last forever. We just can’t wait to meet this little dude who will complete our family.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
