We had an appointment to check on baby brother Friday morning. I can’t believe we’re just about halfway. We have our anatomy scan in two weeks and I can’t wait to see him!
Still over here eating all the veggie sandwiches.
Poor Coop starting running ANOTHER dang fever late Friday morning. I called his pediatrician and they were able to squeeze him in. Freaking Flu A. UGH. This poor kid can’t catch a break. He just got over an ear infection, pneumonia, and rhinovirus. I got his rhinovirus, which turned into bronchitis…I feel like our house is the dang plague. Jake had been staying healthy, but he woke up with a scratchy throat this morning…praying he can still kick it!
After the doctor, Coop got some ice cream.
His chocolate beard made him giggle.
We did lots of baths and all the snuggling over the weekend. There’s nothing better than a baby fresh out of the tub. <3
All he wanted to do all dang weekend was play outside. We finally bundled up and ventured out Sunday afternoon. I’m so thankful Coop is on the mend. Now to just stay healthy. Forever.
I knocked out a little meal prep for Jake Sunday afternoon. Meat still doesn’t sound great to me, so I haven’t been prepping anything for myself. Jake’s lunches this week are rice, veggies, and steak bites. I cooked the steak in ghee, coconut aminos, and garlic powder. Jake said it’s delicious, I couldn’t bring myself to try it.
I also made him some breakfast burritos. These have hash browns, sausage, egg, and cheese. I always make a big batch so I can freeze some of them.
I am loving this mixture – rice, tofu, and Yum Yum Sauce. Delicious.
We read books and played with stickers for over an hour last night before bed time. Coop kept waving at my belly and saying, “hi, baby!”

Fun childhood memory….my dad would open up all the windows on a nice day and also in the middle of winter. We would get in bed with all the covers and he’d “air out the house of all germs” You might try it!!😊
