I was cleaning the kitchen Saturday morning and Coop was in his room. I walked back to this scene…makes my heart so happy. This kid just loves his books! This is also a nice stage of parenting because I trust him to play in his room on his own.

We went for a short walk Saturday afternoon during Coop’s nap time and he passed out. I was hoping he’d nap for awhile in his stroller, so I could get a few things done around the house, but no such luck. The second I heard him waking up, I went in to rock him. He thankfully went right back to sleep for another hour.

Once Coop was up from his nap, we got ready super fast and headed to Ellison’s birthday party! We loved getting to celebrate one of our favorite almost five year olds.

They had this super cool huge bounce house and slide, but Coop was not into it. He and Jake went down it once and that was all he wanted to do. He was more into their trampoline, swings, and playing in the dirt.

The weather was so perfect. It was the best day soaking up the sunshine with our friends.

Coop wanted Jake to hold him and jump on the trampoline. A lot. Poor Jake had just knocked out 19 miles and finished 5 minutes before we left for the party. I know his legs were toast. I was jealous of his run and cannot wait to get back into running once this sweet baby is here.

I am one lucky girl.

My birth mom got Coop some adorable clothes for his birthday and this set is one of them. Coop kept saying, “bull!!” while he was wearing it. HA!

Sunday morning, Jake headed out for a long bike ride. Coop, of course, wanted to do the exact same thing, so we got ready and hopped on his bike so he could be just like Daddy.

I knocked out some meal prep and laundry while Coop napped Sunday afternoon. Lunches this week are egg salad and green beans or maple glazed carrots. I got brave and prepped some egg salad for myself…we’ll see if it still sounds good when I try to eat it today. These food aversions are so weird. And definitely seem to be sticking around…

Jake’s sister and her fiancè were in town this weekend, so they came over to hang out for a little but on Sunday. We relaxed outside while we waited for them.

Coop kept drinking the dog’s water…

He sure loves his Aunt Sissy! <3

Cowboy Coop is still riding into the sunset every night. It’s hard to see in this picture, but he requested one of my hats to wear while he rode. He cracks me up.

Our vanity will be installed on Tuesday! I can’t wait to see it. Things are starting to come together in our bathroom. It will be finished before we know it.
Happy Monday, friends!
