No updates + please keep praying + trying to stay busy

Hi, friends – unfortunately, I don’t have any new updates to share about Riley. The news about him missing is everywhere now, which we’re thankful for. Praying someone saw something and will come forward with information for us. Most of our family is still in Nashville doing whatever they can there. It all just feels like the worst nightmare. Riley is kind, funny, and so loving. Coop is obsessed with him and I always love watching them together. We need you home, Riley – we aren’t giving up! We love you, Rilo.

I have been trying to stay busy and attempting to do fun things for Coop. Luckily, we had swim Monday evening, which is absolutely the highlight of his week.

Tuesday morning, I decided we needed to get out of the house, so I texted some of my mom friends and my sister and told them we’d be at the zoo in an hour if anyone else could make our crazy, last-minute timeline. They all showed up! It was such a fun morning.

We soaked up the sunshine and let the kiddos explore and run around.

Coop talked about the giraffes all morning, but did not want to feed them or pet them this time.

The lions were lounging in the sun and looked so majestic.

We took a little break from walking around to play on the slides.

Sure do love these amazing women and their sweet kiddos! Ready to add one more to our wild pack…

Coop has been grabbing my face and giving me smooches like this this week. He’s just the sweetest boy.

We are having a candlelight vigil tonight in Springfield, MO at Kickapoo High School at 7pm for Riley. We would love to have you join us if you’re able.

I have a check-up with my doctor today to see how baby boy is doing. I will also do my glucose test, so I’ll be at the doctor’s office for awhile. I passed the glucose test with Cooper, so hoping I pass this time around, too.

Please keep praying and sharing about Riley. We can feel the prayers! So very thankful for the amazing people in our lives.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
