Please keep sharing & praying + bathtub breakfast + cool kid

Riley is still missing. Other than the debit card being found, we don’t have any other updates at the moment. Please continue praying and sharing. We cannot thank you enough – we appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you, thank you. We will find him!

My blog uploads blurry pictures of text for some reason, so I tried to make these smaller to help offset that issue, but they’re kind of tricky to read. We all always share updates on social media, but in case you missed it, here’s a post that was shared by a family friend, Chris.

Coop was having a rough morning on Monday. He requested a bath, so that’s exactly what we did. I was starving, so we had breakfast tacos in the bathtub. It was wonderful. And definitely helped Coop turn his day around. <3 I don’t share tantrums and meltdowns, but he’s two, so they happen. Thankfully, they don’t happen super often, but he’s learning all about emotions and feelings, so all I can do is try to help him in that. When all else fails, bath time!

My mom came over Monday to watch Coop for a little bit while I worked. I’m technically on spring break, but didn’t work very much last week, so I’m trying to get caught up. This was my first time working at my office while it’s in the living room. It’s going to work great being here until we finish our actual office space.

Coop wasn’t interested in snuggling with me after his nap…

So I found someone who was. This girl is always down to cuddle.

Thennnnn someone got a little bit jealous and decided he DID need to cuddle. Good thing there’s room for all of us on this super comfy lounger that Jake’s parents got for us. It’s from Costco and it’s the best thing ever.

Coop had swim the other night, which I am convinced is his MOST favorite time of the week. He gets so excited when I tell him we are heading to swim.

You guys, I’m hoping we have made a breakthrough – I’ve been able to eat meat for the past week! My food aversions seem to be going away, which is amazing. We had sloppy Joes, coleslaw salad, and butternut squash for dinner. It was delicious.

Bike rides after dinner are always a good idea. Coop is getting so good at balancing and gliding on his bike. It’s fun to watch.

Naptime snuggles. <3

We are soaking up this warm, sunny weather. Coop wanted to drive his Jeep around for a little bit before dinner.

Hey there, mini Jake Bradley.

My mom brought over some of her famous Monster Cookie dough on Monday, so I baked some cookies last night. These are the best cookies ever. Thanks, mama! These hit the spot.

We spent most of our evening outside last night. Coop picked all kinds of flowers and we stuck them behind our ears. This kid loves being outside.

Our granite will be installed in the bathroom today – I’m excited to see it. After that, we will measure the glass for the shower. We are getting closer.

Happy Wednesday, friends – stay safe out there!
