Baby brother + toddlers, man…+ hair love

We got to check on baby boy Wednesday afternoon. He looks JUST like Cooper. And he has a huge head. It’s measuring like 35/36 weeks, ha! I am 31 weeks pregnant. We think Coop also had a big head, so baby brother is following in his footsteps already. Thank goodness for C-sections, ha! Baby brother is also breech, just like Coop, but I planned on having a repeat C-section no matter what. We had such a wonderful experience with my planned C-section with Coop, so since it’s what I know, I’m all about doing it for the second time.

Y’all. This was delicious. Chocolate ice cream topped with melted peanut butter. YUM.

Our sweet Parents as Teachers rep gave Coop this puzzle at our last meeting of the school year since the next time she sees him, he’ll be a big brother. Which still blows my mind…he LOVES it.

We soaked up some outside time before all the rain hit.

We’re alternating between pants and no pants right now. Some days, potty training goes really well and some days I want to hit my head against the wall. I know there are so many different opinions about potty training. I wish there was a single thing that just worked for all kids, but we all know that’s not how life works. Overall, he’s doing a good job, but we definitely still have some work to do. He sure is cute.

Really, really loves this puzzle…I sent this to our PaT rep because his face cracked me up. So much excitement!

I was washing dishes in the kitchen the other morning and heard Coop say, “mama, come here!” I walked in to see this – he had pulled over another chair and wanted me to sit next to him. We all know I’d break that chair, but this sure was sweet!

Computer work, the Office, and lunch. So ready for this semester to wrap up. I have senioritis SO bad since I know I’m taking the entire summer off. Also, pregnancy brain is a real thing. I can’t think straight. Ever.

You can’t beat burger night. Still not into grilled things, so I made burgers on the stove top. They were delicious! We topped them with bacon, goat cheese, and avocado. Yum. Plus salad and potatoes on the side.

I have a hair appointment later today and I am way too excited about it. My hair desperately needs some love! I have been painting trim and the doors for our bathroom this week, so I hope to wrap that up this weekend so I can start on my next project, which is sanding and painting the dresser we found for Coop’s big boy room. It’s crunch time for projects!

Happy Friday, friends!
