Our weekend was full of fun stuff and a little relaxing. Coop and I had a fun day at home on Friday. If you need us this summer, we’ll be here. The second we finish breakfast, we head outside until nap time. Jake’s sweet cousin gave us this little plastic pool and Cooper looooves it.
Popsicles before 10am? Why not!
Coop told me he was going to finish picking up dog poop for me. He loves having a job and getting to help.
I haven’t been wanting to eat meat again, but tacos sounded good, so we’ve had them the past few days. Ready for my appetite to return to normal!
Naps are a necessity for both of us right now. I’m so worn out all the time, so I’m soaking up the nap time snuggles.
Jake’s mom took Coop to the aquarium on Saturday so I could shower and get ready for our anniversary dinner. Thank you, Penny!!! Baby brother dropped quite a bit over the weekend. I think we are officially on Baby Watch over here! I hope he doesn’t come before this weekend because we have some maternity pictures and I have a sprinkle…but after those two things, he can come any time! Maybe I just need to tell him that…HA!
Tarte is my all-time favorite makeup brand. I am currently loving their sculpt tape, concealer, and foundation. It’s all so good.
We headed to Avanzare for dinner. It was delicious!
Then we stopped by the store to get some stuff to make Old Fashioneds, one of our favorite drinks. I’m counting down the days until I can enjoy one!
Happy six years!! Here’s to many, many more. Can’t believe we’re adding one more little boy to our team in just a few short weeks.
Jake’s parents babysat for us and Coop really wanted Grandpa to stay the night. He kept bringing him pillows and stuffed animals.
Jake had to work Sunday (his last one!!!), and my parents had asked if Coop could come play at their house, so while he was gone, I vacuumed and mopped our house, vacuumed my car, got the infant seat installed, and did some laundry. It’s amazing how much you can knock out with three uninterrupted hours! I was worn out when Coop got back home, so we had lunch and then crawled into bed for a nap. I slept two hours and he slept a little bit longer.
Once Jake got home from work, we headed to dinner at Brew Co with our parents.
I should’ve kept my sunglasses on…sure do love these boys!
