Still over here taking every nap with Cooper. It really messes up my nighttime schedule, especially with the insomnia I have right now since we’re so close, but I’m so dang tired throughout the day. A nap is my only saving grace right now! Plus, I love the snuggles.
Jaxon’s room is just about ready. I finally got his name sign hung up yesterday. For the most part, his room just has the decorations that have always been in there, but we added a few new things.
It’s getting harder and harder to hold this big brother. Rocking him is almost impossible right now, but I’m soaking it all up.
Especially these nap snuggles.
We got so many new books at my baby shower over the weekend. Coop is ecstatic. He’s been reading all of them. Over and over again. It’s adorable.
Coop kept asking to go outside yesterday. It was the last thing I wanted to do. I just wanted to lay on the couch and watch TV, but he wasn’t into that idea, so I tried to be a fun mom. It lasted 30 minutes. I’m just so dang tired right now. I know it won’t last forever, but I definitely have a lot of mom guilt over not being able to play with Coop like I’d like to.
Thankfully, he finally agreed to snuggling on the couch and watching a little bit of a movie. I felt a million times better after we rested for a little bit.
When you have less than two weeks until you get to meet your baby brother!
So. Very. Excited.
I told Coop I was headed to check on baby this morning and he goes, “Jaxon come play with you?” HA! He’s so ready to have a 24/7 friend.
