Weekend Wrap-up: golf boys + Father’s Day + two days!!!

I ran some errands on Friday. I couldn’t believe it was our last weekend before brother is here. I feel pretty decent, just so tired all the time. I’ve also been fighting some terrible acid reflux and lots of nausea again. It’s still bittersweet knowing this is all about to come to an end. We can’t wait to meet you, Jaxon!

We had planned to do a family golf date Friday when Jake got off work, but it was too dang hot for me, so I stayed home. Coop was over the moon excited to go golfing with his Dad.

So stinking cute.

We soaked up our last lazy Saturday before Coop is a big brother. I know we have lots of lazy mornings in our near future as a family of four. <3

We headed out to grab breakfast Saturday morning. On our way to the car, Jake fed the girls. Coop decided we needed to watch Rhea eat before we left. HA! She’s the world’s slowest eater. Coop sat right by her and clapped and cheered her on for each bite. I’m sure she was so confused as to why we were all staring at her. Toddlers…

Coop and Jake have been gardening together. Coop got to pick their first pepper. He was so excited!

Coop requested his robe when he got out of the tub the other day. He smiled the whole time he wore it and absolutely had to check out his reflection in the mirror.

I’m back to having a hard time eating, so I’ve been enjoying a lot of cereal. I ate a bowl while I cooked dinner for the boys Saturday night.

They had Mongolian Beef, which is a staple around here. And it only takes about 10-15 minutes to make. Yes, please! It’s just ground beef with coconut aminos, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Once the beef is cooked, add in frozen broccoli and a little more coconut aminos. Let it all cook together. I put that mixture over sticky rice (the microwaveable sticky rice is amazing), and topped with sesame seeds and some Sriracha for Jake. Coop LOVES this meal, too. He always chows down on it.

On Sunday, we celebrated the incredible dads in our life. We did brunch and swimming with my family, followed by nap time, then dinner with Jake’s. It was a wonderful day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there, no matter where you are in this journey or how you got there. I’m so thankful for all the incredible dads in my life – especially my own and my wonderful fathers-in-law. We’re the luckiest to have you!

I love that my boys get to have Jake as their daddy. There’s no one better! <3

Two days!!!! The next time you hear from me, we’ll either be on our way to the hospital or in our room snuggling a new baby. I’ll get something up Wednesday for sure, but I’m not sure what time it’ll be. I’ll probably take a little blogging break after the baby is here like I did with Coop. Thank you for all the kind words and support throughout this pregnancy. It means the world to us! We are so lucky to have each of you. Sending big hugs and love.

Happy Monday, friends!
