I share more in-depth HERE – I know not everyone wants to read about these procedures – totally don’t blame you! I wish I didn’t know as much as I do, HA! A brief overview – my HSG went really well. Turns out I do NOT have Hydrosalpinx (thank the Lord) and a spot they were worried about is just some scar tissue from my egg retrievals – double yay! So, we are cleared to move forward. I have no clue what that looks like right now, but there are no major issues stopping us from transferring an embryo in the future at this point.
I took a little nap after my HSG before my ultrasound later in the day to look at things post-HSG, but I 100% have zero room if these two decide they also want to nap. Rhea thinks she is a 10-pound lap dog…
She definitely is not…but there’s no moving her once she falls asleep. She’s lucky she’s cute.
I love when Lu falls asleep with her ear like this. The drugs didn’t knock me out the second time like they did the first…maybe because they were actually working to keep pain at bay? No clue, but I was thankful I didn’t feel as out of it on Thursday.
My ultrasound went well, the clinic here spoke with our clinic in STL and they figured things out for us. The doctor here spent SO much time with us and even called me at 6PM Thursday evening to tell me he just spoke with our specialist and they agreed I am good to continue with our IVF cycle – he isn’t even our current doctor right now. I told him how thankful I was for him and that I would 100% be a patient once this IVF stuff was over. I was kind of miserable Thursday evening, so I made a smoothie for dinner and sat on the couch most of the night. This smoothie had half an avocado, spinach, frozen blueberries, ice, almond milk, chocolate protein, collage, super greens, whipped cream, and a little chocolate peanut butter cereal on top. It was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. I was STUFFED when I finished it.
I got this cereal at Mama Jean’s and it is DELICIOUS. We aren’t keto or anything like that, but I love having things to munch on. This is so good.
I made some portobello pizzas for Jake for dinner. They didn’t sound good to me, so I had the smoothie, but we have some leftover, so I will give them a try today. Jake said they’re amazing. Use a portobello as your crust, then top it with whatever you’d like – these have spinach, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and red pepper slices. YUM. I baked all of this at 350 for 30 minutes. Super easy!
I am still pretty sore today. I wanted to go to the gym, but when I told Jake my plan, he suggested I take another day to relax. I haven’t been since Monday and I miss it, but it probably wouldn’t be smart to go today.
I am supposed to get my car back today (PRAISE!!!!), so I cannot wait for her to be back home. You can read about my dang accident HERE. It happened a month ago yesterday, so I am ready to have my car back!
Happy Friday, friends!
