After my run yesterday, I took a little nap, then knocked out a little bit of computer work before going to the gym. After the gym, I had a meeting, then took a little break for lunch: more egg and chickpea salad on gluten-free bread with a banana and PB on the side. I had three people message me that they made this egg salad recipe and loved it – you can find it HERE. It’s so easy and super delicious.
We had more tree work done yesterday, this time in our backyard. This walnut was starting to grow into our foundation and under our neighbor’s driveway. It was so pretty, but had to be taken down. This tree will eventually become our dining room table, which we are so excited about. My Dad is going to make it for us. I love that our table will come from a tree that used to be in our yard.
Here’s a still from a video I took of the tree going down. It shook the ground so much when it fell. SO thankful for Lance and his team for taking such good care of everything. They are so knowledgable.
How pretty is this? It’s going to make the coolest table!
Jake and I went on a bike ride before meeting our friends, Kallie and Coty, for dinner, beer, and live music. I had a meltdown on our bike ride, which hadn’t happened in awhile, so I think it was overdue. More on that HERE, since I think it’s IVF-related, but I felt much better after getting out a good cry. I have just been feeling so weak the past few weeks and like I’m lacking energy. I hate it. Anyway, it was good to see Kallie and Coty. We enjoyed some delicious tacos from a food truck that was at Hold Fast Brewing.
Low quality picture, high quality time.
I love the outdoor space at Hold Fast. I’m a sucker for twinkle lights.
I slept in this morning and didn’t even set an alarm. That was wonderful! Now I’m having a lazy morning drinking coffee and working from bed in my PJs. It’s storming out, so I’m enjoying listening to the rain. My body is super sore from running, lifting, and riding yesterday. I haven’t been pushing it like that recently, so I need to stretch and foam roll today for sure.
These are some Subscribe & Save items that we get every month. Since I subscribe to them on Amazon, I get a 5-15% discount on each purchase. These are all items we use every month anyway, so might as well save a little bit of money on them!
I love adding these beads to our laundry. It makes everything smell so amazing.
This is our favorite laundry detergent. It is concentrated, so you don’t have to use very much. This bottle lasts me a long time, probably about two months?
Our favorite mouthwash.
We add this to the girls’ water. I swear it helps keep their breath from smelling bad.
This is the collagen I have used for at least two years. It’s my favorite because it mixes well and is unflavored, so you can add it to anything. I love to add it to my protein shakes, smoothies, or yogurt each day. I really do think it has helped with hair and nail growth.
Happy Wednesday, friends!
