April 23, 2021: I don’t have any updates yet, but I have had some people reach out to check on me, so wanted to update everyone! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being so wonderful. I appreciate each of you SO very much. <3 Knowing we have so many people praying for and thinking about us makes me cry.
I actually emailed one of the labs yesterday where the sample from my uterine lining was sent to see if they could tell me anything – I’m sure our clinic LOVES when people do this. ; ) HA! Anyway, they told me they had faxed results back to our clinic on the 15th of this month! THE 15TH! I contacted this lab on the 22nd. I was slightly annoyed that I hadn’t heard from our clinic since it had been a week since they had gotten those results, so I contacted our clinic to see what was going on. I assumed the clinic hadn’t contacted me because they hadn’t received all results yet, which was the case, but I still wanted to know what the test said that they had gotten back. Any time I feel guilty for asking a lot of questions, Jake reminds me that we have paid A LOT for IVF and can ask whatever questions we need to ask, so, I’ve been trying to do a better job of not feeling guilty.
I don’t think I will hear anything about results until ALL results are back, which is slightly frustrating, but I also get it – I’m sure they all impact one another, so just because one test says something, doesn’t mean another test won’t change where we go from here. SO, I am putting on my patience pants (I wish those were a thing) and trying to just focus on what I can control – which is not a lot right now.
I AM back on birth control, which is rocking my world right now. I have been pretty nauseated, lethargic, having headaches, no appetite, etc. since starting birth control again. I think the birth control is one of the worst drugs to be on. I hate it.
But, that’s my update. I got nothin’, HA! But results ARE coming in to the clinic, so hopefully we hear something soon. Today marks two weeks since my ERA, so if it does take a month to hear, we are at least halfway there. In the meantime, I will be taking lots of naps and not eating anything. Stupid birth control…
